Company has declined

"Needed grazing muzzles right away. 2 weeks and still don't have them. Called the company and the call operator blames the supplier, saying that State Line is only the distributor. No accountability, no apologies, nothing to make a customer want to spend any more money or TIME with this company. Back to Amazon! "

Beware of Stateline Tack prices

"Beware of Stateline Tack - And PLEASE compare prices before even thinking about buying from them.

They're blowing up their prices, claiming "sale" and the "sale price" is still 2 - 3X higher than what other companies are charging. They're also lying about what the "list price" is on items, inflating them to preposterous amounts.
I tried to communicate with them about it thru a virtual chat where “Glendaly H” essentially told me to go to hell, stating, “Every company sets their own prices." before abruptly ending the chat.

It's important to price check so you don't get ripped off, and I also think it's important to let companies like Stateline Tack know that what they're doing is outrageous.

Here are three examples of price differences I collected today:

Starbar EZ fly trap: Chewy: $11.49 / Stateline: $23.39
Starbar FlyRelief Disposable Fly Trap: Chewy: $4.99 / Stateline: $11.99

Missing package for months and dont issue a refund

"They wrote the wrong address on my package and it never showed up to my house and ended up going all the way back to colorado, and now after i issued a refund with a missing package report its been almost two months and i have not received my money.. "

They increased the prices during check out!

"Item was regularly $149.99.
All items in sale for 25% off.
Items over $129.99 are 30% off.
The gate I was ordering clearly states $104.99 with 30% off but during the checkout it suddenly changed to $112.99 plus shipping. Because of this obvious flaw in their system I started looking at the reviews and discovered out of approximately 100 reviews there rating is only one star out of five. Forget it not gonna buy from this crappy company, they were obviously a rip off. I also found out that if you have to return an item common even if it is their fault even if it is a defective item or they sent you the wrong item you have to pay to return it to them and then you’re only allowed to order the exact same item, they will not issue a refund they will only issue an exchange but if the item is no longer on sale they’re going to charge you the full price. What a scam! I have screenshots to prove but they increase the price but at the moment I’m not seeing anywhere to post them, maybe after I submit my review?

Sent the incorrect item

"So they sent the incorrect item. When I called to get the correct item they said no problem. We will send a return form to tour email. Once you return the incorrect item your original item will ship. Wth? So essentially they took my money sent me the wrong thing and are now holding my item hostage until I fix their mistake ? Worse customer service ever. Still waiting for the return form and a supervisor to call back so it will be weeks before I receive the item I paid for. They also refused to refund me on that item until I send their incorrect item back??? Can I file with the fraud department with my credit card as I did not receive what I paid for? I am passed that I am having to wait for the item I paid for and will not receive before Christmas. No compensation. They are refusing to send it overnight? And all because they made a mistake which is not my problem. Help!!!!!???"

List items that are not in stock... refuse to refund me my money.

"I ordered boots from their online catalog. They sent me an items not even remotely like what I ordered. After loosing three weeks in the returns process, the inform me they no longer carry the item that I ordered. After waiting another 10 days for a refund they wrote me the following email: "We are so sorry about this! When a replacement order is cancelled, the funds are placed directly on the internal account for future use". In other words, they are running a scam and expect to keep my money.
When I demand refund they tell me to go thru other phone-based process, and then they are going to send me a cheque. a cheque? Seriously? First of all I live outside the US and our banking system stopped using cheques in the 80's. Second of all, refund me to my damn credit card, Like now!. This is a super dodgy online retailer. DO NOT USE.
Oh also, since I placed my order I have received a ridiculous amount of spam. Super annoying. As if I would ever buy anything from these guys again.

Two thumbs down

"Had someone hack into my account and use my card to buy a bunch of stuff. It shows it got delivered to me but I never have received it otherwise I would have done a return to sender. This company has now been harassing me. I reported them to BBB 2 times now. I have explained this to them so many times and they can't seem to get that just because the tracking shows it got delivered that it doesn't always make it to the address it's supposed to go to nor do they seem to be able to understand that I live down a private dirt road where we have had numerous packages stolen and misdelivered. As soon as I knew what had happened I deleted all payment methods on my account and change my password. I barely have enough money to pay for my own health issues and all of our animals on our farm let alone to pay for something I never ordered and never received. I would go to some other place to get your tack and supplies. It's not worth having an issue like I'm having now and not get them to understand you never received anything or even orders anything to begin with.
Also their return policy ****. You always have to pay for return shipping and they don't try to help by getting a label for you and just deducting the shipping cost from it you end up paying triple the amount of what they possibly are paying. An individual ends up paying a lot more than a company has to. There are better places that will pay for return shipping.

Must pay your own shipping if returning an item

"Make sure whatever you purchase that it's going to be an exact fit. State Line doesn't pay for return on items. Plus, they hold your money an extra 7-10 days while you wait for an authorization code to be able to return. Once you return, it's another 7-10 days before you actually get your refund."

Wrong size "not our fault"

"Bought a halter for an ave. sized horse. Measured all over and bought the one they said would be the right fit. Halter is way too big, measures bigger than the description. Now they want me to pay shipping and a 10% restocking fee because I opened the package. I asked to talk with a manager and she said she would have one email me. Yea right. After waiting 3 weeks for the item and then not having it fit, I will go back to Amazon and great customer service!!!!"

Instead of bait-and-switch, they bait, take your money and cancel your order

"First time ordering and will never consider ordering from them again. I wanted to spread my purchases outside of Amazon so I purchased on March 24; received a notice my product had shipped April 8 and finally contacted them on April 20 to inquire and I was informed that they had cancelled my order and that they had no further information on whether they would carry my product. When I asked why my order history states "order shipped" if it was actually cancelled, they gave an apology as genuine as their scriptwriter could make it. This Is my 2nd review ever and my experience with this company was the worst. Since my order I have received 42 unsolicited emails from them and not a single one let me know they cancelled my order. "

Return process TERRIBLE

"I purchased an english saddle from stateline, and it didn't fit my horse properly (I DID Pay attention to the width, but it didn't provide enough information to 100% ensure the fit). I called to ask how to return (per their instructions), and they emailed me the address to mail it back to, and said use the shipping company of my choice. No shipping label provided. I had to pay $200.00 to ship a saddle that cost $350, AND they charge at 10% restocking fee on top of that!!!!!! Biggest scam ever!"

Great company ordered my boots on Thursday night showed up at my door Monday with Free Shipping!

"I have been a long time state line shopper even back to the days of when they had psychical store locations. I needed a pair of winter boots that were waterproof and found a great pair on their website. Was reasonably priced with free shipping so I figured I would try them out. They got here in less than 2 business days during the holiday for free I was figuring I wouldnt see these until well into January so this was very pleasant surprise. "
