"Please avoid Startec at any cost.
They would charge you hidden fees and would constantly charge your credit card after your first purchase even though you set your account to no automatic charge.
Also they have a maintenance fees, which is a false advertise to their website.

Their customer service is the worse!!!
I called them regarding my case, and they would keep saying "ok, we will refund your money in 24hrs".
After a week, I still haven't gotten my money back.
I called every single day to resolve my case, but it never resolved.

Since they have my credit card on their file, I wouldn't trust them telling me that wouldn't charge even after I cancelled my account. I immediately called my credit card company to cancel my credit card to get a new one.

"This company is a joke. They have a large ad on their website that they don't have monthly/weekly or other recurring fees whatsoever, and then they charge me a "small balance" fee next month. After I canceled my account they send me another bogus bill of $2.16. Stay away and better use more reputable long distance providers."
