"Can only reiterate what all the other one star reviews have stated: This outfit is a scam. Ordered Ray-Bans, card was immediately charged, over two weeks later still no sunglasses. They conveniently state on their website that the order could easily take over 12 days for processing and shipping (huh??), just long enough for your bank to pay these clowns. You'll get the same repeated automated response to your multiple email inquiries. Phone number is a black hole answering machine. Someone put together a very nice website, that's about the only positive comment I can make. The 4 and 5 star reviews are a fabrication. Can't believe these people are still in business."

After two days had passed and I had not recived my product I went to contact the company. There is NO PHONE NUMBER. I e-mailed the company through their website and only recived a computer generated response which stated they had received my e-mail and would respond within thirty minutes. I proceeded to cancel my order. I then called my bank who stated that the vendor had not yet taken the money from my account. I then cancelled my card and got a new one from my bank. Then today, 7-22-10 I checked my online banking and see that starsunglasses.com took the money from my account. I called my bank and filed a claim. "I ordered a pair of RayBan sunglasses from this company, paid extra for 3-day shipping and never received my order. I checked the shipping status and e-mailed the company NUMEROUS times and never received a response about ANYTHING other that a standardized e-mail that gave no specific information. Of course, they were quick to charge my credit card, but I disputed the charge with my credit card company. I will never do business with this company again."

"I would rate starsunglasses as follows:
Website: A+ it is very easy to use and to find what I wanted.

Price: A+ they had the best price on the shades I wanted.

Product: A+ They shipped the right product in excellent packaging. No signs of fraudulent merchandise.

Customer Service: D- (being generous at that. I did receive the order after all ) After my order they promptly billed my card on Feb.1 but waited a full 5 days to ship (shipped the 5th of Feb.) They did not respond to my e-mails and it took my threatening to cancel the charge as fraudulent and report to the BBB to get any response. Not impressed.

Overall, I would rate it at 2 stars. Online orders are based on trust. Communication is key to this and starsunglasses fails miserably."

"I have boght three pairs from StarSunglasses the last 1.5 years. Here is my experience with them:

ASSORTMENT:
Cons: Only one brand (Ray Ban)
Pros: They have virtually any Ray Ban style and color made.

SERVICE:
Really had an inquiry with my first order (was unsure of a color description). Emailed them 11 PM and got a response the following day at 11 AM. The answer was extensive and included a link to the color I was looking for.

SHIPPING:
My first order took some 8 days to arrive, the other two orders came within 4-5 days. I always selected the lowest cost shipping available.

QUALITY:
I have received original Ray Bans and they are not "refurbished". At school we all order online and my friends have also used StarSunglasses because of price but also because its always safer to order from someone who is recomended to you by a friend. I never heard anyone having problem with them.

PRICE:
This is the best part, simply unbeatable! they dont do what other people seem to do - to have very few items at a low price just to get you to their store then the rest is much higher. ALL their Ray Bans are at good prices, sure you can probably get $5 lower from someone else but at least for us we know we are getting good stuff and fast from StarSunglasses.com!"
