"Avoid this dispicable vendor at all cost. They have no morals nor do they have any integrity.
Where do I start? They charged my credit card weeks before they shipped the computer to me. They sent me an e-mail saying it was sent out but Fed Ex tracking shows Fed Ex didn't actually receive it until 6 days after Starfirepc said it shipped. This made me suspicious of them so when the machine finally arrived, I popped off the side cover and found the worst wiring job I've ever seen. I ordered a $3000+ machine in which I specified very specific mfg. parts and model numbers. Instead of an Enermax EG701P-VE 600 watt power supply I ordered approx $180 at the time) they put in a $50.00 cheapo generic brand. They didn't put in the round cables I ordered. They didn't put in the CoolerMaster Musketeer System Dynamics Detector I ordered. They put in a cheapo Yukon network card instead of the Intel that I ordered. They installed Maxtor hard drives instead of the 2 Western Digital drives that I ordered. They did not send the free games they told me they would via e-mail. They did not include the built in 802.11g that should have came with my motherboard. At 1st they said they would "look into" my claims. Over a month later they have not replied or contacted me in any way. My machine is crashing all of the time but they do not respond to my trouble ticket or calls. Windows Advanced Diagnostics tells me that either the memory (I have 2 GB) chips are bad or the motherboard is bad. I have a $3000+ piece of shit for a machine that they built for me. What is normally the happiest of times (buying a new kick ass computer) has turned into the worst purchasing experience ever in my life. They don't answer their sales phones it has been a machine 100% of the time....and I assure you I've called a lot. Ditto on the support phone. A machine always answers their phones. I have plenty of e-mails to back up my claims to their total abandonment. Don't be their next victim!"
