I ordered the Armada Technologies Pro 290 Cable and Wire Locator from Sprinkler Warehouse at a price that was significantly lower than any other retailer I found. With free delivery, they accepted PayPal for payment and the item arrived within a few days and included a free Sprinkler Warehouse T-shirt.
Following the video instructions provided on the Sprinkler Warehouse web site, I was able to quickly operate the device to successfullly and easily locate a faulty underground wire (burried approximately 24" underground), and track it to the source of the problem. I was even able to trace the wire under 4" of black top macadam. The unit worked flawlessly, exactly as advertised, and just as demonstrated on the Sprinkler Warehouse web site.
Suffice it to say, I was extremely pleased with my purchase, the performance of the device, and the service provided by Sprinkler Warehouse. I was particularly impressed with the ease of ordering, and the resources provided by Sprinkler Warehouse, which included the owner's manual, product rating, and a video demonstration of the product featured on the Sprinkler Warehouse web site.
