Because it was a major event, I was unable to find parking elsewhere and was forced to miss the event entirely. "SpotHero does not allow you to go in and out but goes allow you to extend. I paid $30 to extend for another day but since I had left the garage they wouldn’t let me back in. Spot hero would not refund my money so I paid $30 for a second day that I had no way to use nor would they give me a new bar code. Extremely frustrating!!!"

"Booked reservation with SpotHero for the 6x6 garage for my Granddaughter's 1st On Broadway show. Arrived with plenty of time to get to show, only to find out the garage was full, no parking! SpotHero is SpotZero and 6x6 garage continued to let vehicles in when there was Zero parking. Will not park at 6x6 garage or use SpotHero as they do not manage the parking availability.
Booked another garage 5 blocks away from the theater. Due to this inconvenience we were 30 minutes late for my Granddaughter's first broadway show. We had to walk through homelessness, drug activity to get to the GoldenGate Theater all because of 6x6 garage & SpotHero not managing parking spot availability. Terribly disappointed!"
"Received confirmed Parking Pass for Washington DC garage. Was told upon arrival that there were no spaces available. Was sent to a partner location and was told the same thing. That location said that SpotHero is nothing but trouble."

The address was for a business, but the parking belonging to the business was not at the same location.
By the time I figured it out , I was very late.

"I had a paid in advance reservation with Spothero for a garage at 150 East 58th Street in New York City. When I arrived, the attendant told me that the garage was full, and there was no space for me. My husband phoned Spothero's customer service department, and was given a difficult time before relenting, and crediting may account. This is the second time that this happened to us, and we will not use Spothero again. "

"BE AWARE!!! Don't ever go to the parking spot at 40 E 9th St in New York, New York! My car had been damaged while it was at the garage, but they tried to HIDE it from me, and just let me go without telling me! On the second weekend of February, I left my car there, but when I came back to retrieve it, the valet acted strangely, and pulled the car up from the side, but I didn't suspect anything at that time. When I got home, I saw that the front bumper was severely damaged, and realized that the garage had crashed another car into mine. I checked my blackbox dashcam and I saw that they tried to clean up the mess before I got back. This is clear evidence that they had caused the damage, and tried to hide it, but they REFUSED to take responsibility just because I didn't realize it immediately, even though they were HIDING it from me!!! Don't ever use this parking spot! They are dishonest, and tried to deceive me into paying for the damage THEY caused to MY car! This happened to me, but this can happen to you, too."

"SpotHero was no hero when it came to retrieving our car from a garage they arranged for us (via the app). The customer service line was not helpful. They took no responsibility. After 90 minutes of wandering the lot we finally got out when someone else came to exit and had a pass. Also absolutely no follow up from this company. There are other choices out there - going to try Parker or Parkwhiz. "
"I have used spot hero specifically the garage at 50 W 44th St teice in the last week. The first time was great so we decided to go back. The second time was on a week night after the holidays and as $5 more to start. But we stuck with it. We arrived to retrieve our car and found that we had extra charges..we had entered at 5;27 I stead of 5:30 and were charged an additional $15..$5 per minute! Absolutely ridiculous! Will NEVER use yhis garage or spot hero again! Very unhappy...could gave parked next to the theater for what we paid! One unhappy customer!"
