"Fantastic service. I had been looking for a part for my tripod for ages and with only 5 minutes with Michael over the phone my problem was resolved. Great customer service and very polite. Since I was in GA and they are located in SC, I was given immediate shipping costs and we did everything over the phone. (my internet was down and I found their info googling with my cell phone) I got the part in 3 days and couldn't be happier with the overall experience. "

"I needed a replacement part for a tripod so I found them online. Not sure exactly what I needed the website clearly showed me my options and after measuring per their instruction I placed an order on Tuesday. I had the part by noon Friday and it fit perfectly! I don't know how you could do better then that for service!

I would recommend Spartan Photo Center to anyone!

"I placed an order for a replacement part for my Giottos monopod. I paid $5.95 for shipping and handling for an 8-ounce piece of metal. I then received an email from them stating that I needed to purchase their APO handling charge of $6.50 or my order would be cancelled.

$11.95 to ship an 8-ounce piece of metal to San Francisco? Since I wanted the part I reluctantly went back to the site to add the $6.50 charge to my order. When I did this, the system was going to charge me an additional $5.95 for the regular shipping, on top of the $5.95 I already paid and the $6.50 charge they wanted to ship the item to an APO.

No thank you! What a complete rip-off. I reqeusted a refund on my order since at no time during the placement of my order did it indicate I would have to pay this charge.

The seller did cancel my order as requested and my money was refunded. However when they emailed me they claimed that the shipping fees are what the post office charges them. I can guarantee you that the post office does not charge them 13 dollars to ship an 8-ounce piece of metal to me. I mail items on a regular basis and don't pay that much.

In the end the company is a complete rip-off with deception schemes. Stay away!

"I am happy to say that the replacement parts for my tripod arrived by priority mail and everything works as it is supposed to. I will gladly check with them the next time I need a part(s) for my Bogen tripod. They have a very helpful list on their website and ordering is easy. www.spartanphotocenter.com is their home website with a lot of links. "
