Item received in terrible shape

"Upon reaching out to sonic electronixs they have been extremely hard to deal with. My subwoofer box was delivered with nearly every corner having torn carpet on it. I took pictures, emailed with customer service and they offered me $25 “sonixbux”. Gee thanks. I doubt I’ll even use the $25 gift as they’re customer service and quality control is so poor. I usually don’t write these but after this experience I need it to be heard. Don yourself a favor and order from crutchfield! Learned my lesson."

Never received item, lying staff

"I was looking for a part to help install my car stereo, but it was listed as on back-order, so I called up to see what the availability was and the salesperson I spoke to told me they were supposed to have it in stock in the next few days, and that if I ordered it then, over the phone, he could give me a good discount, and make sure it gets sent out first thing when they receive them. I did end up placing my order at that time, which was July 8th.

The following week I get an e-mail saying that it's on backorder (which I already knew) and to call them if I had any questions. They said it was going to be 1 more week, so I said that was fine. Now 2 weeks later (3 weeks since my order), it still hasn't been sent out. I called a couple days ago to get an update, and the guy was rude, and said he'll have their sales team look into it and they'll e-mail me. 4 days later still nothing. Looking into doing a CC chargeback.
Quite the "deal" I got for sure.

You cannot trust they online fitment guide

"This is the worst part of SonicElectronix. You can order what they site says will fit, then when you get it, it does not fit. And if you guest checkout, you cannot return the items unless you call them. Second worst part is IF YOU TRY to negatively review any product on they site, they will not post the review. Do not start and end your shopping at Sonic, they really ****."

Horrrible horrible company!

"Absolutely the worst company ever! I ordered a Bluetooth integration kit that was supposed to be brand new. When it arrived, I took it in to get installed in my car. After ripping apart my radio the installer found out it had a broken input receiver and was previously used with the old tape marks clearly visible. I was charged $50 for uninstalling and reinstalling my radio. I asked for Sonic electronix to send me a new part immediately. After being on the phone for over an hour, they told me to email customer support which I found out later was the same guy I spoke with on the phone. After 3 days of not receiving any response I called and waited on the phone for 45 minutes to speak with the same representative getting passed from useless customer service agents to the next. Finally, when I reached the person I needed to he acknowledged that he had indeed received the email and had no reason for not replying. I asked them at a bare minimum to expedite the shipping of the new part to make up for all the trouble I suffered. After saying “no problem, we’ll overnight ship it,” Its been 5 days and I still haven’t received the package. As a result, Im going to have to reschedule the install again. I will never ever order from this company again! What an unnecessary headache! These guys had some of the slowest and worst customer service I ever experienced. And they didn’t even apologize once! I’d recommend to stay far away from this crappy place."

"I ordered two speakers off their website, and they only sent me me one speaker. When I tried to get the problem resolved, they asked me to fill out a form, but I don't understand how that's my responsibility for their screw up. All around just horrible service. "

Simple, easy and to the point.

"Never had a bad order with these guys. Most recent was in 2018, I bought a Morel Tempo Sub 10in, Focal 4 channel and a subwoofer enclosure. Enclosure was delayed and they not only called immediately about this, but they gave me a list of other enclosure that would work for the sub. The sales staff understand car audio and installation, not just product descriptions. In short, I got my enclosure only (1) day after getting my sub and 4 channel amp. Everything worked and is still working to this day. Order took maybe 3 days to ship to my place in AZ. As stated above, I never had a problem with this place. Sales staff is knowledgable and easy to work with. Shipping was smooth for me and prices were pretty much the cheapest I could find for my order."

Great customer service.

"I recently made a purchase and made a mistake with my address and the shipping company, who will remain nameless, delivered the package to the wrong address. I contacted the shipping company and was told that I could not make changes to the delivery address, that only the shipper could change it. I got in touch with customer service, Chase I believe is who I talked to, and had a conference call with him and the shipping company and after about 20 minutes of going back and forth on who was authorized to make the changes it was taken care of. I have nothing but good things to say about Sonic Electronix and their customer service reps, they were patient with me and helped out greatly. I will definitely be making them the first on my list for car audio purchases and would highly recommend them to anyone."

Where's my order?

"I ordered a stereo/backup camera on 8/13/18 from Sonic Electronix with 2 day free shipping. It stated the item was in stock. On 8/15/18, I contacted Sonic Electronix because I had not received a shipping notice. They said it should ship that day. It did not. I received an email on the 16th that it should ship that day. I again called on the 17th, Eric assured me it would ship that day. The following week, I received an email asking me if it was a time sensitive order and I replied yes, it is a birthday gift. I have emailed them twice asking for a refund and received no response. Since the 17th I have been unable to reach them by phone. I filed a dispute with PayPal on the 20th which the seller has yet to reply. On Sonic Electroniz website they still show the item in stock and ready to ship. I feel scammed."
