"I have ordered a Filson Zip-In Jacket for my Filson Mile-Marker Jacket. Ordering process went very well, item got shipped very fast and arrived within absolutely reasonable time for Int. STAY AWAY FROM THIS OUTFIT !!! CROOKS!

"Kiss your money goodbye if you place an order with them! NO shipping notifications, they supposedly use FedEx, but several days afterwards FedEx doesn't know you! No more tracking or anymore updates. HOW CONVENIENT that they now leave it up to you to dispute Fedex. BTW, Solomon no longer responds to voicemail or emailed inquiries. Order ID: 301081359

Friendly and knowledgeable service

"I bought a pair of boots from these guys. They are a small shop staffed with people who know and use their products. I had some questions about how waterproof the boots would be. The guy who answered the phone said he wears the boots every week and took the time to explain how to care for the boots. He treated me like a friend and we chatted for a good 15 minutes.

You don't get this kind of advice at big companies. It's nice to support the little guys.

talking to a wall

"Placed my order, got a confirmation they received my order never verified my order, the email said I could expect delivery in 5-10 business days.Since then I have call twice sent an email and now I am going to try calling the store again, I googled and found the store is in Houston, Texas. Luckily I purchased it with a credit card so I am protected, what bothers me is I am leaving and will be gone for a couple of days and I don't want to worry about porch pirates taking it because trying to get this company to do anything besides taking you money is out of the question.

After placing 24 calls I finally got the owner or the guy that runs the place he told me this was his first day back, he had had an arm injury, apologized profusely and said he would get right to it. Said if it wasn't in the wear house he would call the manufacturer and have them ship it directly from there.

Called 11:55 am today NA-no answer. Don't forget they charged my credit card back on 2/17/18. I have not received a notice of, shipment or refund.This guy is as shady as they come, he has other businesses, multiple addresses come up when you google him. I don't know if he's running from the law, up sizing or down sizing or what but I'll give him another week then I'll pull the plug. On his site there is a link where you can, Check your order status, when you click on it you get - Not Found [CFN #0005]

"Ordered a Filson hat from Solomon. The order took quite a long time and before it was shipped, I e-mailed customer service to change the size. The e-mail was never responded to and the order was shipped. I received the order and promptly contacted them via their customer service e-mail address. No response. I sent another e-mail to customer service and complained loudly.

They did call and I called them back. I told them I wanted to exchange the hat for another size. I was told to ship back to the address on the invoice. Which I did.

I know that the order was received from UPS. I am not getting any responses back from customer service on my exchange. My last communication with them was to cancel my order and refund the purchase price.

You can shop with them if you like, but, do not expect any customer service that is worthwhile. I will never user them again.
