"Stay away from this pathetic excuse for a company. They are a bunch of rip-off artists, plain and simple. They lure you with an extremely low price and they never ship your goods ordered. They're quick to debit your credit card, though. I placed an order, my card was charged the same day, and the items were never shipped. I had to request a charge back from my credit card company.

This is scam operation disguised as a hardward/outdoor items store. I hope the owners are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law and that their bad karma comes back to bite them as well. They disgust me!

"Don't let the low price fool you like it fooled us, too! Ordered grill part, part was charged to credit card the following day, received the order confirmation number, but no grill product... How can this company have an "A" rating with the BBB???!!!! "Mailbox is full" is the only answer by phone, numerous e-mails sent with no response...no choice but to take action to dispute the charge with my credit card company and file a complaint with BBB. TAKE THE WARNINGS!"

"My name is Bonnie Wooten.I ordered grates for a outdoor barbeque in January of 2011. I never received the grates and my husband's debit card was charged. They need to be stopped. I agree with all the blogs above. Same M.O. It leaves a dirty taste in your mouth.Please heed.I sent an email to cancel after a month had gone by and I hadn't received my items. This is why I am not sure of the order number.From what I remember, the number below was it. I have now opened a dispute claim on the transaction through my husband's account."

"Watch out! I placed an order on February 28, 2011, received a confirmation, but have yet to receive my new oven-racks.
I've called the customer service phone ***-***-****, and the voicemail-box is, and has been full since day one. All email attempts to make contact with a "person" at smithonline, have been futile.

I do online sales myself for a motor company, and if we had customer service like smithonline, we would run out of customers real fast!

"Do your self a favor and pass on this firm. I’m a heating contractor. Found this company on line on a Google search for a furnace igniter. Great price so I ordered two for stock. Now the bad part! First they tried to double dip my credit card. Three days later the part shows up at my door but only one igniter. These items have to be treated like glass. They come from the manufacture in a foam lined box. The one I got showed up in a kitchen zip lock bag and it was broken. I know it was broken before it shipped do to the fact the pieces weren’t in the bag. There answer? We get these in bulk 25 to a bag. Bulls—t! Well I’ll have to do some checking and I’ll get back to you. Well three weeks later and no call or a second igniter. I’ve now protested it with my credit card provider. I’ve been in the heating business for thirty-five years. These people are out and out thieves. Nothing more! Nothing less! Bob L"
