"After Googling several phone trade in companies this one seemed slightly better than the rest. I say that because they "seemed" to offer 5 to 10 dollars more than other companies. I began the process of trading in my phone and initially all went well. They were quick to send me directions on shipping my phone to them as well as providing the necessary labels etc. So here is where it all fell apart. They absolutely ripped me off. I sent them a phone that was in excellent condition. Screen had been protected for all the years I had it. Shell had been protected with a back cover I had put on. Phone operated just fine. I conservatively valued the phone based on the criteria THEY provided to be worth $30. In my mind it was worth more but I understand how quickly technology falls out of favor. Had they deposited 20 bucks to my Paypal account I would have been surprised but I'd have lived with it. Had they deposited $15 I would have said, "Okay, it's on me. They're cheaper than I thought." So was it $10? Nope. Was it $5 for this phone that was as clean as the second day I used it? Nope. They deposited $4.55 and never even sent me an email to let me know they'd paid me. I was sitting at my PC one day and I said, "Hey, I wonder if Smartphone TradeIn.com ever paid me?" That's when I found out there had been a Paypal deposit from Smartphone saying the phone was damaged. It was not damaged in any way. Stay away. They're just ripping people off. I've dealt with others and they're so much fairer. These guys ****.
