Decided to pay the freight cost just to ensure that they lost more money than me.
Australia post returned the item to me because there is no Las Vegas address. They just try to make it soo expensive to get a refund hoping you will give up. That way they keep your money.

"At the end of March 2019, I ordered an earwax vacuum and I received it over a month after I placed my order. I did not know that it was being shipped directly from China. It took a very long time to receive the product. When I saw the packaging, it was almost entirely in Chinese character, so I did not understand what was stated on the package. It also came with a small leaflet in Chinese characters. Then I tried the product and it did not work, there was no extraction of ear wax. The pieces are cheaply-manufactured pieces of plastic. This is a cheap product that did not work as advertised. This product was advertised for $20 and an extra $5 for shipping and handling. I contacted Smartocity in Las Vegas and they told me to ship the product back to the Chinese return address, but the return shipping costs have to be incurred by me. And, Smartocity will not refund the shipping costs back to me. So, return shipping this product back to China will cost me as much as or more than what it cost me to get the item! What a terrible deal. Do not shop Smartocity. They falsely advertise their products, which are cheap pieces of plastic from China that do not work. They will only communicate with customers via email, as their telephone number is a loop recording that will never connect you to a live operator or representative."
"The SONIC Teeth Cleaner is a piece of dangerous JUNK. Extremely sharp pointed steel tip does NOT use "SONIC" waves to clean your teeth. You have to scrape your teeth if you can keep from piercing your gums. Also the second tip just falls apart when it touches anything! CHEAP! Their guarantee is a lie. You have to send a video to get a refund and then they make you pay the return shipping that will probably cost more than you will get back if they do honor their 100% Guarantee!

for a refund you have to courier back to them with full shipping details, shipping label and customer invoice etc. cost more to ship back. total rip off.

"I ordered some Mighty cleaner tablets and spray. However as soon as I did so I regretted it, I usually research companies that I have never used before, but in this case I didn't and ordered impulsively. I found the same items at 90% cheaper elsewhere. I went back to the site and asked to cancel the order, but was told that the items had already dispatched. "Super fast" I thought! but they said that I could return the items for a refund.
I noted the tracking number provided and to my dismay when I searched for the shipping details, not only had the order not been dispatched but the company was in China!
I never knowingly order items from China as they are usually cheaply made rubbish, with terrible customer service. Which has proved true in this case.
I paid via Paypal so will hopefully I will get some assistance in rectifying the scam that I fell for.
Avoid this company, order at your peril. If there was a "-0" rating I'd have selected it.
UPDATE: The order arrived with both spray bottles smashed. They were in a silver envelope with no protection at all. I contacted them and asked for a prepaid returns label...(Didn't have high hopes of this) As expected they quoted their T&Cs and refused to cover the cost of returning the damaged item. After a few irate emails they offered me a 40% refund! Now it became personal.
I was not prepared to swallow the loss of my money so I posted the item back to them, making sure that I would have traceability and a signature to prove that it had arrived at their warehouse. I note that someone said they refuse to admit that returns have been received. Then I went straight on to PayPal and claimed the postage back from their "Return on us" service which was paid without any quibble. Great Service.
Now I will track the parcel and send them a daily update on it's progress. I'm like a dog with a bone when a principal is at stake. If they play silly games again, it's straight back to Paypal with my complaint. If enough people complain to PayPal they should investigate and close their account as they cannot allow unhonourable and basically dishonest traders to ruin their reputation."
