I have had the privilege to know Lori & Mickey Young personally. With both of them, what you see is what you get! No fancy frills or spills, just straight shooters. When they first started Silver Lining, I used various products for my horse program and I was always very satisfied and pleased with the results. I moved from Idaho and was in Texas for awhile and therefore lost touch with them, my own fault! A couple of years ago I moved back to Idaho. Due to physical restraints, I am not able to compete on my awesome barrel horse, Diamond Year. Diamond took me to many barrel racing and rodeo championships and a 17th ranking in the world standings in the WPRA. In 2009, I entrusted him into the capable hands of a 16 year old high school girl, Tanisha Adams for the 2009 high school rodeo year. Together they won the Idaho District 6 High School Rodeo Barrel Racing Championship, the Idaho State High School Rodeo Barrel Racing Championship, they won the first go around at the National High School Rodeo Finals last August in Farmington, NM and ended the year ranked 3rd in the Nation. Diamond is 16 years old, and the road has taken it’s toll on him. We recently took Mr. Diamond and had Mickey work his “magic” on him. Mickey was able to provide us with very valuable information regarding Diamond’s health and we are committed to supplement his diet with the Silver Lining products Mickey has suggested, “Bone & Joint”, “Kidney Support”, and “Immune Support”. I am very optimistic about his future and only wish that I would have remembered these products a year earlier! What was I thinking? In the mean time, Tanisha will be competing on Diamond’s sister, Ghost for the 2010 season. Mickey has also recommended products for her as well and even though she has only been on them for a short time now, she is showing results from these products. This past weekend was the first rodeo for the season, Tanisha and Ghost placed 2nd & 3rd in the barrels, and won the pole bending event. "My wife and I were VERY impressed when we first bought from Silver Lining 1 year ago, and we found everything worked VERY well!! We would have continued using their product indefinitly...however...

For some strange reason, they switched to capsules 2 weeks ago. As a result, the costs have TRIPLED, and they are really no longer affordable in my book. On top, neither of our dogs will eat capsules, so I we have to empty each one anyway.

Don't now why they changed it...was easier to sprinkle and mix into food.

Unless they go back to the more affordable "non capsule" versions of their product, we will no longer be buying from them as it is not worth it in the end.

"Silver Lining Herbs are excellent -- without doubt THE most effective herbal formulas I've ever come across. My only quibble with our last order was that the website picture of the product (K-9 formulas) still showed the jar of herbal powder, when in fact, the product had been changed to capsule form. Frankly, we prefer the powder form for convenience, although the capsules work just as effectively.

All in all, the Silver Lining Herbal formulas are the best I've ever tried."

"First:
I had a mare that had some eye problems and she some how scratched her eye or bumped it really hard that cause trauma. She started to go blind. I took her to the vet. We treated her with 6 different medications around the clock every three hours for three months. The Mare’s eye was getting scraped with a razor blade weekly. She was at the point of having to have surgery to do an eye flap or remove the eye. That is when I called and spoke with Mickey. I put her on the Immune support, Liver, INF-x and Bright eyes. In one full round of silverlining herbs she was normal and back to barrelracing. After that I was a believer.

Second:
My Best barrelhorse was starting to act very strange. I was devastated. Normally, the best riding horse and a great athelete. He would go from a walk and would lounge to a lope, then he started pulling back from the trailer, started to wobble when cinched and would walk out of it. But the biggest hitter was when he ran in the pen and his legs felt like they were not attached to his body. He was a run away train without a brain. Well he had EPM. That was at the end of July. I received the products in August; CNS, Worm Foe, Immune support, and Digestive Support. It is now 4 months later, just like Mickey said…..my gelding is 90 percent, I am now starting to leg him up while we still continue on our treatment for another 8 weeks.

I would not use any else. The only thing is ground shipping does take some time. wish that was faster."
