Shopdango.com = Criminal!!!

"I had ordered a backpack from Shopdango.com and when I received it, it looked different from the one they had advertised. After multiple times of trying to contact them, I finally heard back from someone (I'm guessing the ONLY person who works for/owns the company) and they agreed to do an exchange if I sent back the original pack I'd ordered... at my own expense! I sent it back and "they" claimed it never arrived! -I was out $80, plus the extra $14 it cost to ship back to them. (*Of course I made the mistake of not asking for shipping confirmation... which I DEFINITELY learned my lesson from, and will ALWAYS get from now on!).

BTW, I don't think Shopdango is a company anymore... They probably suffered from their terrible service and had to close up shop!!! :-P

"Horrible Customer Service - 1
have tried to contact them via email, phone, fax, through their webpage, and through ebay and paypal portals -- and no one responds.... or has responded -- they don't have a problem taking your money ..... and then sending you defective merchandise..... let me know if you have or are experiencing the same problems......
Obviously the answer provided the person did not read the details of my question -- I have tried all the contact information that you have listed -- not just once , twice -- try TWENTY Times no less... and there has been no response whatsoever.... so please try again with your answer.. .. Thanks....

"Shopdango.com is THE WORST online company I have EVER purchased merchandise from!!! They DO NOT/WILL NOT answer their phone, nor do they return phone messages! They only replied to the THIRD e-mail I sent them because I made threats of writing negative reviews (-like this one), about them, online! My biggest problem with them, however, is that I returned the merchandise I purchased from them (back in October), and they STILL haven't refunded my money back to me,nor have they responded to any of my recent messages!!! (-It's NOW half way through December)

PLEASE save yourself some stress and buy through ANOTHER SELLER!!!!!

"I ordered a 250g HD for my macbook as well as a cd-rom drive for a desktop PC. I did not receive an email outlining my delivery information within 24hrs as the website states. I was a little worried about my order after I read their reviews online and placed a call to the company. I reached a message saying they were not in the office. After trying all of the options, I soon realized that all "departments" routed you to the same message. I sent an email inquiry 3 days after I placed my order and received a response within 5 hrs with my tracking number. I did end up receiving my order within the promised time. FedEx did leave the box at my front door in a large apartment complex (normally we get packages in the rental office), which I was not thrilled about since my order was fairly expensive. I would not recommend going with this company. Next time I would pay a few bucks more and have the security of knowing the company (i.e. Newegg)"

"I purchased an external hard drive case on 6/15. Shopdango promises next business day shipping. They did not provide shipping information. I called, faxed, emailed, and eBay messaged on 6/18. They do not answer their phones. I got an email that evening stating the package was shipped that evening. I doubt it would have been shipped at all had I not inquired.

I am reordering elsewhere and will refuse there shipment if it in fact comes.

Update 06/28. Shopdango still ignores me but I obtained the product elsewhwere as advertized and on time.

"Shopdango seams to be a small company still working to improve their processes. RMA and phone services today in Q1 2008 are below average but the shipping and customer service I received shows they are working to improve their processes. I cannot say I had the greatest experience but I can see this company improving in customer service overtime. Their prices are great and by the looks of other reviews on resellerratings.com they are satisfying many of their customer's needs. I purchased a Buffalo NAS that had the ROM Chip fail a week after I received the product. I paid to have my data recovered. I then requested an RMA from shopdango which took about a month due to a backlog in their RMA process. Once I received the RMA I paid to have it shipped through UPS. After shopdango received the item it was about 4 business days until my credit card account was credited. After $50 data retrieval cost and $30 UPS shipping cost against me it is finally resolved.

"fedex had left my package on the door and it wasn't there when I came home. Shopdango team was on it within 10 minutes I emailed, coached me through my interacting with fedex, which they didn't really have to do and had a very personable style. I swear it felt like they actually cared!!!

"Amazing service. I called ahead during after-business hours to see if they had a certain laptop in stock. A customer service representative answered and told me that there were some in stock from what he could remember (Someone else has called in earlier about the same product) but an hour after I hung up, he actually called me back to inform me that it was confirmed to be in stock.

Later in email, the support would help me through some trouble with google checkout in a very helpful manner. Fast responses within the hour, and a very good service.

The price was also cheaper than most online retailers from my research. Did I mention that shipping was fast as ever?

Would I buy from this place again? Most definitely. They deserve it.
