"I had purchased one of their refurbished receivers (TX-SR605) and then found that they had a different one that I really wanted (TX-SR805) on sale. They asked me to just refuse shipment on the first one.

The receiver shipped the same day and I got it the next day. It was in great condition (for a refurb), with no blemishes. Customer service is responsive through e-mail and on the phone. When they have a sale, their phone line can get very busy but they always respond to e-mails.

There was a delay with the refund for my refused shipment, and a couple more e-mails were needed before the situation was resolved. There was some glitch but customer service was helpful and I am a satisfied customer."

Had an issue where I couldn't access the tracking number because of some snafu with their order status link, so I sent ShopOnkyo an email late last night. At 9AM they called me and told me the item was delivered. Confused, I walked to the door and there it was!! Nice of FEDEX to not knock.

Anyway, this was my first order with them, and I deal with Vendor issues both good and bad as a Moderator at a large hardware forum often, I've seen it all.
