"shoesandboots is the online store of Grandstand Footwear the manufacturers of Grinders boots, you won't find this on their website or anything much else about this operation, and emails won't be answered for days if at all. You'll probably get your order but if like me you have to make an exchange you'll be left waiting days at a time for a response from the one person they have dealing with all online purchases whose main job keeps him out of the office most of the week. Ringing the company will bring you to either clueless or rude staff who are unable to deal with this internet stuff, and that one person that can is at a trade show or something.
After many emails and calls a pick up was arranged but the courier was a no show for 3 appointments so in the end I just mailed the boots back to them myself, I'd been trying to exchange them for 3 weeks at this point - when I was able to get the guy on the phone about this he was disinterested.
Local shops no longer stock Grinders boots, I've found websites that used to sell them no longer do, the one place I did find would keep telling me they'd be getting more stock in soon for months before I decided to order from this website, that'll teach me. I suppose they don't care about their reputation because they only really sell to retailers, for all I know I may have been the only online order they had in months.
