Don’t Purchase

"Do not purchase because if you don’t live near a store they will not refund you. Shoe fell apart within 4 hours. I purchased 600 miles away while on vacation. They will not refund, exchange or anything unless I go to store. I DONT have that option! They simply don’t care to satisfy customer. Instead, they steal hard earned money. I paid full price for shoes I have to throw away after 4 hours of wear. This is robbery. No concern for customer satisfaction or simply just doing what’s right. "

Great experience

"I ordered two pairs of Nike running shoes online. The website worked well and effectively. I received an email for my order confirmation. But after a few days I never received an item has been shipped email. So I contacted customer service the gentleman was very friendly and helpful. He gave me my tracking number. My order arrived just like he had told me. I got both pairs I ordered. Very pleased with my experience. I will be ordering from them again. "

Eastern shoe station terrible customer service

"The customer service at eastern shore is terrible. After purchasing a pair of girls Nike shoes on 7/23 I was refused a refund 8/7 or store credit on a pair of shoes that was sized wrong. They was bought for a grandchild that lives out of town. I was not told I only have a 5 day return. Never been worn no scuffs still packing in the shoes. I will not shop shoe station anymore. It’s to easy to buy online to have horrible customer service."

Disappointed

"Shipping was half the price of my shoes, and then they didn't fit. I asked if they would pay return shipping to help me out...I had to end up paying 1/2 again...therefore, I paid for the full price of the shoes in shipping fees. I have never written a review before, but was really disappointed."

A little bit of customer service would have gone a long way.

"I placed my order for 2 items (a kavu paxton bag and a kavu wallet) on march 22, 2019 at 6:21pm. I believe my account was charged and the money was took out that night or next day.

I got the order confirmation email and the welcome to shoe station email. So far everything is by the book and going down normal.

(3/27/19)
5 days later i realized i havent heard anything about my order. So i search my emails.....nothing. Look on my shoe station account and it said my items had shipped and my order was complete. I click on the shipment number where it says track this shipment and it says no info available.

Ok.....time to call someone. I called the customer service number first and at first i thought i accidentally dialed the fax number because of weird noises and feedback but then realized i could faintly hear someone talking on the phone not to me though. Hung up called back and it was the same. Ok.... Plan b.....
So now i send my first email @ 10 a.m. to customer service and asked for my tracking number. I got a very quick reply at 11 a.m. stating that there was a delay in processing due to system error but it showed the order was at the store and waiting to be shipped. It will be shipped this afternoon or tomorrow at the latest and once my items were scanned at the hub i would receive my tracking #..Yay! Good news!

i didnt hear anything on my tracking info yet so i emailed again at 10 a.m. to inquire about my purchase. And at 3 p.m. ( the cs response time was consistently quick. At least they have that going for them) i get the same email cut and pasted literally minus the getting my tracking number once its scanned at the hub bit...Im still good with this. The bag and wallet was an awesome deal. This is gonna be worth the wait.

i finally got a chance to check my email for my tracking number around 5 p.m. and nothing. So i emailed again.....Cut and paste my 1st email asking for the tracking # here.....

@ 3:35 p.m. shoestation emailed to inform me that items ordered and paid for 10 days earlier were actually unavailable and a refund will be issued "ASAP".

I was very excited about this order. This most awesome deal proved too good to be true. And the thought did cross my mind, at first, but after successfully adding the bag and wallet to my cart and seeing the item is in stock box was selected i was optomistic again. Checking out went just as smoothly. I was even able to use a promo code for a 20 % discount to boot! Double score!! I was loving me some shoestation! Then ......whomp- whomp- whomp........reality slap....but who would have thought you had to worry about the validity of an advertised price at a business like Shoe Station that has been around for years. I have shopped in- store here for as long as i can remember. But this was my first online experience with this store. They were always one of my first choices when shoe shoppping. Must admit im as equally dissappointed about not getting my kavu bag and kavu wallet for the come to find such an unbelievably low price as i am about the quality of cs and lack of attention my order received.

Live and learn.

The morale of the story i guess is this: A little bit more information would have went a very long way shoestation!

I'm a bargain research shopper of sorts. It took me almost 5 days to pick out that bag and wallet. Now here i am back at square one. Thanks

Would give them a zero if I could

"Worst website experience ever. Normally I wouldn't order shoes online. I ordered this Vionic flip flops, because I have had them and replaced year after year. So, I know they fit, I know they work for me. I ordered a pair through Shoe Station because I saw a great price. They sent me the wrong shoe. A platform heel - they were supposed to be flat, not platform. Completely defeats the purpose for me. When I contacted customer service, they said they couldn't send me the correct shoe - they were out of stock. I explained that I would accept any color, any print - it didn't matter. As long as they were the flat vionic flip flops. I also explained that they had them in stock in my size. I saw them on their site. Not only was the rep rude and terrible at communicating, but he insisted that they didn't have it. He refunded the money and basically told me to stop contacting him. All I wanted was for them to offer the great price and send me the correct shoe - again, any color. It could have been puke colored for all I care. It's just something to wear around the house because they help with my foot problem. No dice. I would urge you to go somewhere else. I wish I would have read these reviews before choosing to buy through them. But I did it because of the great price offered - in retrospect, seems to me it could have been a mistake and that's why he just wanted to get rid of me. Otherwise, why not just make the (very open to any color/print) customer happy and send a replacement? Save yourself the trouble. BAD ATTITUDE, BAD POLICIES, and BAD MANAGEMENT. "

Constant need to follow up

"Placed an order on Friday, and received a shipping notification on Sunday. The tracking said it was shipped via fedex but when trying to track, the number was invalid. Contacted customer service on Tuesday since Monday was a holiday, and was told to wait as the package would move on Tuesday afternoon and ship out. I emailed customer service on Wednesday as the tracking was still saying invalid. At this point I also checked ups which said that same thing. Customer service told me the package had already shipped and I would see an update. On Thursday, I again checked and saw the same thing so I emailed for a SECOND time. I never received a response but 20 minutes later, ups was contacting me saying the LABEL HAD BEEN PRINTED this was after 4 days of being told it had already shipped... now the packaged won’t arrive until next week. I’m just hoping it is the correct product as this is NOT a good company to deal with. "

"I was honestly so **** off. This one worker named Dylan I believe was helping me and left me alone. I had to wait 30 minutes before actually coming across another worker: Macia Outlaw, who helped get me any shoe I needed. If it weren’t for her, **** would not have even given a 2 rating. Bad customer service

"Walked into Hillcrest store in mobile, al. Coupon on my phone displayed 20%. Shopped for an hour, had 2 pr shoes and 1 pr boots, got to register and my phone displayed 15%. Spoke to store manager who proceed to tell me that I put app on my phone today when I have been using my app for 2 years. Basically called me a liar. I didn't purchase and will NOT go back to that store. But a little way down the street was a Shoe Station annex, where I found all 3 of same items for $50, where I was willing to spend $140. A little customer service would have gone a long way.

" Twice I ordered shoes from on line and twice my order was canceled. I was advised a by customer service representative that just because I order something I see online means they have it in stock. Horrible business ethics and even worse customer service. "

"This website is legit. I ordered two pairs of shoes and had them delivered before Christmas. However, on the 22 when they came in, one pair was the wrong size. I called and they immediately sent a free return label and a pair my size with free next day shipping. When I called I spoke with 2 extremely nice people who helped me with everything. "

Aware! Bad quality and overpriced delivery so they win in any case!

"Shoes that are good for somebody, may hurt your feet.
You better choose it in real store with ease to return in case it not OK. Not like in this store that you lose money. Please use my experience to skip mistakes.

"Do not buy! Ordered 2 pairs of shoes from them.. Only received one! Called them and told them I was missing a shoe and they told me that it is now sold out and that I have to pay the difference to get a different pair. Excuse me but it is not my fault that your computer system allowed me to go ahead with the order and completely go through with it. I should have been offered a different shoe based on the fact that it was their screw up. I will never buy from them again. The manager I spoke to was very rude and unprofessional!! BEWARE!!!!!"
