"Ordered a rather expensive book from them through Amazon as a birthday present for my wife. I later realized it might not arrive in time. I contacted the folks at Serendipity Unlimited and asked if they could help. They repackaged the book and shipped it by express and it arrived just two days before the needed date. Wonderful people!
Let me add, the packaging for the book was excellent - bubble wrap around the book, then a cardboard wrapper, then the outer package. The book looks like it just left the publisher. Perfect.
I will very happily do business with these folks again.

"Same exact thing happened to me that happened to one of the people on here. I sent a book back because I didn't need it. I had to pay for my own postage ($6.50) because they were too cheap. Then, the seller claimed they never received my item and refused to refund me even USPS tracking confirmed delivery. In the end I had to file an American Express financial damages claim. "I ordered a title with them, through Amazon. I've never received it. I've follwed up and they told me they will send it again (weird as they only had one copy available). I still haven't reeived it. I paid a lot of money for the book (Natasha by Konsalik) especially if you convert the price to South African Rands. And of course they don't care."
"I ordered, thru Amazon, a used copy of "Greatest Carols Album," on June 30. The seller showed the item as "In stock & ready for immediate shipment. Shipped from the US to arrive in 9-15 business days." The price was $8.04 + $3.99 shipping. This company is in Newark, DE. On the same order thru Amazon, I ordered "Christmas a la Carte," from Secondhand tunes, just outside of Chicago, IL. This CD was new; the price was $1 + $3.99 for shipping. I live in upstate NY (1 hour south of Montreal). I ran MapQuest to determine the distances from DE & IL to NY, & of course found out that DE is quite a bit closer to me. On July 6 (which means 5 business days), my CD came from - wow! IL! Nothing from DE. And DE provided no tracking number. I sent them an email asking for the tracking number (sometimes I've gotten items so fast and so close to me that I don't need this). They emailed back saying they didn't get one, but that they shipped my CD on July 2nd (that's immediate shipment?). On July 11 (that's 10 business days) I got my CD; that's where the fun starts. There was a label on it giving a tracking number. When I ran this tracking number (thru USPS) the only data came from July 10 (pre-shipment info sent to USPS) & July 11 = 7:53 AM arrived at my PO/8:02 AM sorting complete/8:12 AM out for delivery/10:56 AM delivered. There was another label under the one giving the tracking which I could not get to (label wouldn't come off clean). Obviously Serendipity Unltd got tracking numbers but really didn't want me to know when they initially sent my CD; no way could it have been sent on July 2nd; I think based on how long, in my experience, packages take to arrive from that area, they sat on my order from June 30 & very likely sent it on July 6. That means they waited 5 business days to ship (compare that to the IL company that had my New CD into my home in 5 business days). They of course charged my credit card on June 30. They lied about the tracking numbers, lied about immediate shipment, & also shipped "Parcel Select Lightweight" for the same shipping cost as the IL company which provided tracking. No way will I do business with Serendipity Unltd again. And by the way, if you leave feedback of a highly negative nature on Amazon, it might contribute to the percentages regarding negative feedback, but Amazon suppresses your feedback so no one will see it. Everyone beware!"
