"I had sent them a brand new iPhone 13 pro max. The device reaches their “facility” in 2 days which was a Thursday. I thought okay good they have it. I should be hearing from them today about inspecting the device. No!!! No response until the next Monday, when the tracking number clearly stated it was delivered. Not to mention I emailed them the next day(Friday)to follow up with the device, no response!!! Hmmm okay, cool they want to hold my device for a few days, mind you it’s in brand new condition. I finally get an email back the following Friday, saying the post office delivered it to the wrong address they never got it. Then immediately after that email saying hey we have the device, but we have to send it back to you due to two other phones that are in MY name but reported lost. Why not mention that during the last order with those devices? All of a sudden I have a new device that you guys WANT TO KEEP you say this but okay cool!!! Mind you nowhere on their website states anything about lost devices being brought to them but okay fair enough. They say we need you to pay for the shipping label to send your device back. I say fine sent them the label. I get no response for days, I try to call they ignore the calls purposely to avoid doing what’s right. If you ask me like the gentle before in the comments said, it’s sum young rag-tag kids running this company trying to come up on anybody they see an opportunity on. BEWARE WITH THIS COMPANY, they will try to lowball you then blame you for not wanting to do business with them. You risk any devices or electronics sending to them just be aware."

After SellShark completed their "inspection" they told me the phone's screen was coming off and as a result they would not honor their original quote to trade it in. When I shipped the phone there were no issues with the screen whatsoever. Something happened to the phone during the "inspection" process that SellShark wouldn't take responsibility for. "

"Very misleading. Make sure you know how to check the staus of your battery before sending in. My macbook was in perfect condition except the battery which noted "replace soon." It met every condition for the normal category except that one, yet when I emailed about it, they told me that it was considered "damaged." The criteria they listed for the "damaged" category are: Damaged LCD or software issues; Jammed, missing or malfunctioning buttons; Device has been wet but is still functional; Heavy corner damages due to drops; Physical damage in multiple locations on the device; Device powers on but does not boot up properly; Screen peeling or delamination.
NONE of those describe my computer, yet this company still would have labeled it damaged and tried to undersell me by hundreds. Just my opinion, but I would consider this a scam."

"Firstly, I should note my last review was mysteriously deleted. Here is my story: I sent my Iphone 6S to sell for $200. I received a notice that my phone was damaged and qualified as a cracked screen. My quote was lowered to $130. When I promptly responded saying this phone was not damaged when I sent it, I was told they were shipping it back, not even allowing me to respond to the new quote. My phone did indeed arrive back to me, broken. The screen was popping off. I took it to an Apple store to have it examined. They checked it over, confirmed the battery was functioning and screen popping off was not caused by a swollen battery. They stated that the screen was bent as if it had been pried off incorrectly. I, myself, have never taken the screen off. This could only have happened by the SellShark employees. After submitting a complaint with the BBB, Jon, from Sellshark, tried to report that Apple had no record of my phone getting repaired and that this issue was now caused by a swollen battery. This was most definitely a lie as Apple is very strict with allowing their repair records to be released. He did not know the date of my repair visit nor did he know the repair number, both of which are needed to access records. When I came back with this, Jon stopped responding to all of my correspondence. Avoid this company at all costs. They are a scam. "
“Again you still insist on arguing instead of finding a resolution. I physically inspected your iPhone myself. Colin and I both came to the same conclusion. I have been doing this my entire life and I know exactly what has caused your iPhones screen to bend upward. It was from the battery inside the phone swelling in transit pushing up at the screen causing the screen to bend. This is a common issue and their is a re-call program for this at Apple. I will personally bring the iPhone to the Apple store my self and get it swapped out for a brand new iPhone under the re-call program. I will document the entire process have your new replacement phone back to you with-in 3 business days of receiving. If I am unsuccessful at doing such thing stated above I will personally write you a check for $1,000 and overnight express it to you. This is how confident I am with my conclusion. This is publicly posted so if i do not do what I say i will do you can slander myself and company all you want like you have been doing, But for now please stop neglecting the review system to try and get something more than you are entitled to. ”

It has been replaced before, clearly since the replacement screen was an LCD aftermarket screen and not an OLED screen. We sent you pictures. You can easily pry up on the screen and it will pop out of the phone. No one broke your phone it still functions and works just fine. However, we are shipping your device back for free in the same condition it was received so you are not out a single penny. The only person who is out money here is us since we paid $10 shipping to get your device here and another $10 shipping to ship your device back to you.
