Where do I start?
My previous CPAP machine served me well for 10 years, but it recently died. I am unemployed as a result of Covid-19 and going through financial hardship is difficult. Even with the unemployment boost money we've been with barely enough to cover basic expenses and provide food for our loved ones. That being said, I have been looking for a while for a place that had more affordable options, with no results whatsoever. Not only that, but any company that I approached required an additional $100 minimum just to obtain an RX from their own doctor which made the financial challenges more difficult.
Without a machine my sleeping time had become a nightmare trying to breathe (my wife tells me about the long periods that I stopped breathing and gasping for air) and waking up in the morning exhausted and with throbbing headaches on a daily basis. So I changed the search to companies that could work with persons whose machine broke or don't have insurance, don't have an updated prescription, and are facing a hardship. And that is how I found about Secondwindcpap.com. I started by browsing their website page and was amazed of how affordable they are compared to others that want to charge you over a thousand dollars for the same products and services. I found a brand new, factory sealed machine for $345 and also a brand new nasal mask, both of them for a total of $404!!! I saved them in the cart for two days and after agreeing with my wife to invest in this, when the unemployment check was deposited in we used all the money to place the order. It was a step of faith.
Later Brandon sent me the order confirmation and number via email. I asked him if they could work with me to expedite the process due to the symptoms I am dealing with, and a few minutes later Leslie called me over the phone to confirm that Brandon forwarded my message to her and that they were shipping the equipment today Friday via UPS Next Day Shipping and I will get on by Monday (which is great because UPS normally doesn't deliver weekends) which almost made me cry! She also offered that they could adjust the pressure numbers so I didn't have to work with that later which I gladly accepted and provided her with the information right away.
A few minutes later I received another email from Brandon confirming the equipment was already shipped and on it's way to me along with the tracking number.
I have been in the customer service industry for several years, and I was amazed by the excellence with which Brandon and Leslie worked with me. They went to infinity and beyond to help me and I don't have enough words to express my thankfulness to them. The least I can do is making this known publicly, of how much of an impact they had on me through their kind actions. That's why I am sharing this here openly, to recognize the excellent job they are doing, not only with their service, but with the affordable options they provide potential customers with.
So if you are in a similar predicament like the one I was in this morning, look no further, you arrived to the solution you were searching for!
