"The screen arrived in a box that clearly said it needed overpacking in another box but it arrived in a paper envelope. Screen was intact so I pressed on with it. The video on the website was very straightforward but a different version of the laptop and was unrepresentative of screw positions and failed to mention the metal brackets that needed to be removed from the old screen because they aren’t supplied with the new one. The brackets are bonded on with double sided tape and are easily bent and there’s no tape in the kit to allow you to move them to the new screen.
The screen was decent quality and worked straight away but be aware that on an ASUS Vivobook X1500EA the replacement is a lot more involved than the website will have you believe."
