"I saw the reviews and was a little worried that I didn't carefully pick the right scents, even after I googled what scents would best pair together. But I just got my order today and I'm impressed. The smell lingers on your skin and leaves a smooth oily feeling. It's not overpowering but not subtle either. I did get a little worried when I made my order on January 30th and didn't receive updates after a few business days. I emailed them and they responded the next day. It was prompt, timely, and I will be ordering from them again."
"I had the pleasure of dealing with Taylor throughout my order. She was very respectful to emails. After letting my scent macerate I couldn't be happier. Definitely glad I gave them a chance despite the reviews. I will be ordering again very soon. The company is owned by two sisters and they try their hardest to make their clients happy. "This is 100% true and honest. For years I'd used Waft Custom Perfume but they suddenly went out of business. I contacted ScentCrafters with the hope of providing a highly feminine scent sample on a 3x5 index card and sending it to them for "matching". What I got back were two bottles of "toilet water" that didn't even begin to smell like the sample (that had been sent in tin foil and a ziploc baggie to preserve scent perfectly).
When I complained, Taylor (1/2 owner) apologized and said he'd check with perfumers "notes". Then, he went on to tell me to allow the samples to"macerate" (i.e. "age") before sampling. What? Perfume is perfume; when it arrives, you spray and it's "ready to wear".
I sent both samples BACK, and the scented 3x5 card, acknowledged my dissatisfaction yet again and said "smell the samples, smell the card, they're not even close".
Three days later, another email. Not addressing the non-match issues but acknowledging I was "disrespectful, and sarcastic".
Never once saying "I smelled the sample card, and the samples to say you're right, they don't match", never offered to a re-do, AND never offered a refund if I was dissatisfied.
Horrible experience, disappointed that I trusted ScentCrafters and disappointed in their business practices.

"I ordered a bottle of cologne and was worried what it would smell like and it smells AMAZING! It smells like the type of cologne i would wear if i was rich... it just smells so elegant. The processing and shipping was a little slow but that's because of covid-19 which is completely understandable. Their customer service is amazing, i emailed them and got a reply within 24 hours with an answer that suited my question completely.
Do NOT let the bad reviews drive you away from this company, you have to understand you are taking a risk when custom ordering cologne/perfume, you may or may not like it. If you do not like it, it is NOT the company's fault.. you took your chances of it smelling good or bad based on the ingredients you chose. Small company's are hurting from covid-19 and it really hurts them when they're given bad reviews from incompetent people that can't understand why their cologne/perfume doesn't smell good."
"I was really nervous about starting a project with Scentcrafters after reading the horrible reviews but I decided to go ahead anyway. I had clear, prompt and friendly communication as we worked together on my project of a line of perfume. I was creating several fragrances so it took time (about 6 weeks I think), but I feel like that was reasonable considering my project. When the perfumes arrived(in two days after project was completed), they were packed with care. Each bottle came in it’s own black satin drawstring bag which was a classy touch. I’m very happy and will be doing more projects with Scentcrafters in the future!"

"The scent I requested was that of Clematis Montana, a spring flowering vine with a light, delicate scent that has undertones of tuberose and a faint musk. What I got was nothing like that. One sniff and I had a raging headache from it this heavy, cloying candy scented mixture. I tried washing the stuff off of my wrist and couldn't! After a thorough scrubbing with Dawn dishwashing liquid that is purported to remove oil from wildlife, it's still on me! I'm returning this immediately. I'll come back with another review if the return process is an ugly one."

- The Scentcrafters and Scentmatchers compan(ies) are an absolute SCAM! They sell cheap smelling perfume- is it stinky water? - and do not match scents in any way. As far as getting your money back - you can kiss that goodbye as well - they will claim to have not received your return and blow you off. Not worth the risk - their claims are a bunch of hogwash! (and so is the "perfume")."
