"Ordered a Uniden Bearcat SDS-100 scanner with 3 county programming. The antenna was included on the packing list though. I called and was told it was shipping separately from another warehouse. After several more days I checked again and was told that it was shipped incorrectly. I then received the tracking and the antenna showed up but it was the wrong one.

When I tried to set up an exchange I was told I did not order the O-ring antenna. I sent a screen shot to them showing that I did indeed order it and it was acknowledged by them before shipping. I was told, sorry, backordered, the one we sent is just as good. Funny, because they recommended the one I ordered and not the one that was sent.

I got 3 counties programmed for free when I ordered during a Christmas special. I had to spend time reprogramming the scanner because they messed up all three counties. My main county was missing the 2 largest cities. One county had no agencies within its border but a neighboring county. And another was missing several large agencies. I'm glad that I know enough about the software to fix their errors. I would have been really upset if I paid for the programming.

On a positive note, the scanner works great and receives simulcast better than my 536 and HP2 ever did. But these guys just don't seem to be on it. I did get an apology from them but the damage is done. Look elsewhere for better customer support."
