"I've had a bad experience with Savannah eBikes.
I placed an order with them 2/9, but received no order confirmation,
or notice of shipping date, no shipment, nothing;
and cannot contact them by their website email or phone numbers.
Indeed, lately their phone #s have quit taking messages.
Other customers are having these same problems.
The company is not responding, even to queries by Paypal
in my case. l have a claim in with Paypal to get my money back.
Are they still in business ? Did some calamity happen ?
SeB has a very informative website, good looking products, and good reviews.
Their website is still taking orders, and I was sucked into ordering.
Until they become responsive, I would definitly not recommend them at all.
If they will contact me, and get me my products, or a refund,
I'll rewrite this and toss them an extra star.

"I ordered a trike conversion kit on 1-29-14 and paid 484.00 through Paypal. I did not receive any notice of order or receipt of payment. I e-mailed this seller and did not receive any answer. I have called them twice and only got an answering machine, telling me to leave a message and he would call me back. I did leave two messages and have not received any communication from him at all. It is now 2-06-14. I have contacted Palpal to try to get my order filled or my money back. This is NOT the way to get and keep customers. Vada ****@****. UPDATE 2-18-14. On 2-6-14 Filed a dispute/claim with PayPal and my bank card co., which gave Savannah e bikes 10 days to respond. They didn't, so PayPal resolved in my favor and on 2-17-14
I was refunded my money by PayPal. I updated this post because I have received several e mails about this transaction. I had even contacted the chamber of commerce and they couldn't contact them either."

"Dan at Savannah Ebikes is the BEST!  I converted two of our bicycles with their front hub motor and like this much better than the more expensive manufactured ebikes.  I called him and emailed many questions and he took his time to answer each one making me feel very comfortable.  We love the bikes now, can ride like before, and just add power through the variable thumb throttle for hills or headwinds.  Much better than others on-off power switch. We now take the bikes everywhere and use them much more than we ever did before.  They are actually transportation now, and I feel comfortable traveling farther knowing I have help available getting back home if needed."

"I received the direct drive kit with LCD dashboard. The indexed, rain resistant quick disconnects for all components, make assembly literally a snap. The features and controls of the digital dash are impressive. Its fun to have a speedometer on my Schwinn tricycle. I live in a hilly part of Iowa and the motor is powerful enough to keep cycling enjoyable for an out of shape 54 year old guy. Using the wire kit included,I built my own battery pack with Interstate Batteries, Power Patrol, part # SLA1097. 12V10AH X 3 in series = 36 Volt 10 AH pack. I will look into lithium batteries when it comes time to replace this pack. The on line videos at SEB are useful tutorials, that made assembly easy. So far this kit exceeds expectations, I will update if issues arise. Have fun be safe and always wear a helmet when you ride."

We installed 2 sets of kits on our recumbent bikes in Rochester, NY.... great ride performance and power for hills with the 36 volt system.
