"I have been building homes for thirty years and I waited to post this review until I could really assess how well these products perform. This is not the easiest waterproofing system for plywood decks but I think it must be the best. I installed the system on an 825 sf deck over a garage and I did it in the Fall. The weather got pretty cold at points but the products went on and cured beautifully. I am very impressed with SaniTred products and the level of customer service they provide. I highly recommend this company. "
"BIG MISTAKE, don't use this product!!!! There is a reason they make it a DIY product because... that way they know you have no recourse regarding claims against them. They will always pass the blame on you! Trust me, It will not work on pools, their claims that it bonds imperviously to properly prepared concrete is NOT TRUE; and I have valid pictures to prove multiple areas where it completely delaminated from my sand-blasted-virgin concrete surface. Especially when you are using their LRB (liquid rubber base) on top of your initial cost of Permaflex. I have a minor in Chemistry and over 12 years of college education, I'm a perfectionist and I did all the work myself to exacting standards which were over and above those required; and as God is my witness...using this product is the biggest mistake I have ever made and they WILL NOT back their product. Buyers beware... I researched for over a year what product would provide me the best and most reliable results for my pool coating and based on their misleading claims, I mistakenly selected Permaflex. Additionally they recommend when finished, painting the surface with a quality epoxy, which I did immediately. Guess what? The epoxy will crack all over your pool! Why? Because to put a hard shelled epoxy paint over a flexible surface that expands/contracts at different rates, can do nothing else but crack!!! I will be more than happy to discuss my terrible experience with this product to whom ever would like to know more, feel free to contact me! It is the worst mistake of my life and once you do it there is no going back without spending tens of thousands of additional dollars! $$$$ "

"Proceed at your own risk. The company does not have a customer satisfaction guarantee. The instructions are long, complicated and poorly written. Product was not "self-levelling". Be careful of temperature fluctiations. Just a few degrees can have a profound impact on the application. I spent $400 any my project came out poorly. This product may work for pro's with experience, but it is definitely not for homeowners."
" I used this product 8 years ago on my basement walls. I had (2) very small cracks that needed to be sealed. I let the surface dry completely (about 2 weeks after the very heavy rains) and then I applied the product and let it dry. I waited for about a year before reinstalling the drywall over the concrete just to make sure there were no leaks. It's been 8 years now and I've had plenty of heavy rains and so far no leaks. I would use this product again. you can do it yourself. I recommend trying this product first before calling an expensive contractor that will charge you thousands of dollars. "
"The odor of the permaflex is strong and lasts a long time. We've had open windows and strong ventilation in the basement for over week and we still can't spend any time there. The odor also drifts up through the whole house and shows no sign of diminishing. I would not recommend this unless it is your only option. "

However, as price goes this was a fair price compared to other brands and has a much higher claimed water resistance level. "
