"It has been a nightmare since Sanford Kramer AC/furnace company (the subcontractor of Home Depot in Montgomery County, Maryland) installed brand new heat pump, AC/furnace, water heater, central humidifier, Clean Effects air filtration system, UV light, etc. in October 2010. They gave me misleading information on the products, installed incorrect products that we agreed upon, and refused to give me money refund when I caught them. They have failed permit inspections for serious code violations three times (for examples, they did not use the correct electrical breakers, the extremely hot gas exhaust vent was touching combustible material). They have come more than one dozen times for various repairs since the installation in October, 2010. We had no heat for many days when the temperature was in the 20's due to the failure of the products. They failed to read or understand the installation manuals. It is April 2011 now, I am still trying to get inspections passed. Home Depot was not helping the customer to solve these issues. I will never use Home Depot's subcontractor again because I don't know who can have that kind of energy and time to go through this lengthy and unbelievable nightmare."
