"4 days after ordering a product there was no confirmation of a purchase. Upon calling the sales line I was informed that the product I ordered was on back order and that it would not come in until the end of the month (2-3 weeks). I asked the representative if we were ever going to be notified. He said "no, because we were supposed to have it in last week's order" and later told me that they sold me a product they didn't have because of a misunderstanding of their stock on their end. I asked for a different model of scope. They did not offer to pay for a shipping upgrade. So because of their mistake I am without my needed scope for another week.
If you are considering purchasing from this company I would make sure to call them and check availability of the product. Also, don't expect to hear from them if they screw up your order."

Saelig was excellent to do business with from the first contact by phone with some questions, to second contact by phone for a stock check, to the order process on their web site, to conclusion of the transaction with a successful delivery of a new Rigol DS1102E Digital Storage Oscilloscope which was exactly as described on the web site, and in perfect, mint condition.
I searched the web very thoroughly for a merchant with the lowest total cost, and Saelig was the best by far. I discovered very much to my surprise when I visited the Rigol DS1102E product page at Saelig's web site that not only did they have the best price on Earth, they also offered free FedEx 3 day shipping plus a free, very nice case for the oscilloscope.
I was skeptical Saelig was legitimate, and wondered if I had somehow misinterpreted Saelig's fantastic offer; so I called them. The phone was answered on the second ring by a live human who was polite, efficient, and very helpful. I was never put on hold. The Saelig customer service rep had a thorough, technical understanding of all the products they carried, and he verified the Rigol DS1102E offer included both free FedEx 3 day shipping and a free case.
A few days later I called Saelig again to check stock before placing an order. Again the phone was answered within 3 rings by a live human who was polite, efficient, and very helpful. I was never put on hold. The rep told me they had literally thousands of units in stock. Due to the confidence and sincerity in his voice, I believed him.
So, I placed an order on their secure, easy to use web site for one Rigol DS1102E. The order was processed literally immediately and my package was on FedEx's truck within 30 minutes of my placing the order.
The package arrived in pristine condition and my Rigol DS1102E was very well packed with a generous amount of padding on all 6 sides, plus a free gift of a rather nice Saelig branded pocket knife complete with screwdrivers.
The entire transaction went perfectly. The Rigol DS1102E functioned properly, and I had no cause to do a return. So, I can not comment on how Saelig is with returns or defective items.
I never wrote a review for a merchant before. Yet, my transaction with Saelig was such a fabulously positive experience that I felt compelled to write this review.
