Very strict reurn policy!

I ordered a Minn Kota foot control pedal from them because the speed control on my trolling motor stopped working. After removing the foot control from the package and finding out the foot control was not the problem, I was told I could not return the part because I had opened the package.

I didn't even want my money back. I asked for store credit on this $60 item toward a $800 item, but I guess I shouldn't have opened the package to see if the foot pedal worked and solved my problem.
