"I ordered a Thule fitting kit for my new roof bars which arrived however I made a mistake and they had to be returned. I received confirmation e-mail to say they could indeed be sent back for a full refund and I am still awaiting my refund..... Lesson learned - don't deal with internet companies who do not provide a telephone number, there is usually a reason why they are cheaper!!"

"I did read these reviews before ordering from this site, and established that they are now owned by Indigo Ecommerce. I was still put off by the lack of a phone number anywhere online and no Social Media to check (apart from the slightly abandoned looking Indigo Ecommerce Facebook Page), but after checking everything else (and due to the rucksack I wanted being £10 cheaper on this site) I decided to go for it. Whole order process was smooth, bag arrived incredibly fast and is an excellent product.
So I can recommend this site, but man they seriously need to sort out their trust issues online! All they really need to do is get a phone number on the site somewhere, set up a Facebook that shows them updating and responding to customers, and they'll be set. Thought I'd at least review to let people know my order was fine and they are legit and functioning as an online shop.

"I ordered a pair of Karrimor snow boots from the roofrackshop on Tuesday 23rd November, requested "normal" delivery and they were delivered on Thursday 24th - very slick ordering process through the website (I believe many of the earlier, poorer, reviews here were "pre-website" orders, and a very, very competative price. Furthermore, I emailed them to ask a question and they responded extremely quickly, so top marks for that too. I have to say I am more than happy with my boots, the price and the service, A FIVE STAR SERVICE in my opinion, thanks roofrackstore, I'll certainly use you again."

"We placed our order- items were listed in stock but only 2 out 4 items came with "to follow" on the receipt. No news from them, tried emailing but no answer. You can't even log in on the website.
I would not use this company or any of the affiliated companies again.
Have learned a lesson- unless there is a proper telephone number (not 0870)I would not buy on the internet!!

"Order for Thule Roof Bars placed on 7th May, chased delivery date on 12th May, received an apology that items were out of stock and were not due in for two weeks and that they had cancelled the order!
15th May I chased the refund, as the full amount had been taken off my card.
17th May was advised that refund could take 5 - 7 days.
6th June, still no refund and have chased again!

7th June, received this response:

We regret to inform you that Roofrackshop UK Limited ceased trading with effect from Friday 4th June 2010. Our understanding is that all unfulfilled orders placed before this date, have been processed for refund through Roofrackshop UK Limited’s payment processing Bank. For all enquiries relating to the supply of goods or refunded payments made before 4th June 2010, please contact your own Credit/Debit card provider for clarification or initiation of a chargeback.

For all other enquiries relating to orders or payments made to Roofrackshop UK Ltd please contact the appointed Agents, Begbies Traynor, Finlay House, 10-14 West Nile Street, Glasgow, G1 2PP.

"The worst on-line shopping experience I have ever had.Took payment whilst no stock and shipped what was in stock but items missing from packaging so I do not have a roof rack All customer services ticket that were logged were ignored. There are no phone numbers to call these people. An absolute shameful company with zero customer satisfaction that any potential customer should well avoid. Do not use these people."

"I guess reading the latest review this company has now gone under. Not surprised. You can claim your money back on your credit card if over £100. If you paid with visa debit as i did then you can start chareback proceedings with your own bank. Either way you will get your money back"

"Incredibly poor customer service! No wonder, RoofRackShop.co.uk charged the entire amount on our card – even though the product was not in stock. Their web shop listed it as "In Stock". The company later told us this means "the manufacturer has it in their stock."

Customer "Service" promised us a mail in the following two days, with shipment detail, and a delivery in the following 3-5 days.

Two weeks later, we have not received any confirmation or shipping details, and we have not received the product. RoofRackShop does not answer our emails.

We will now file a case with Mastercard Customer Relations.

All in all a terrible experience with this company. We recommend you to shop elsewhere.

"Purchased a Thule Atlantis 780 roof box and roof bars and would definitely recommend Roof Rack Shop. Great website which was a doddle to use and brilliant prices. My order arrived the next day and delivery was free, can't ask better than that. Well worth a vist. I made my purchase from www.roofrackshop.co.uk as they sell different products on www.roofrackshop.com"
