"Road USA cases
Bought 2 different cases from here. Both pedal cases. First was the close out version. RCPEDAL-HDUTY-32. I was very happy with that model. Second was a different one and was much cheaper. RCPEDAL-ROAD-STD. The plywood appears to be water damaged. I can see the grain swelled underneath the laminate. The angle iron edges seem very thin. The rivets actually bend the metal. When removing the cover there’s a lot of twisting and floppiness so it doesn’t appear to be structurally well made. The interior is sloppy in appearance. You have to wonder about a company that is closing out a good model for a lesser one.

"I ordered three 18RU cases with casters. The order was processed quickly and efficiently online and then was followed by a phone call to confirm the order and let me know they would be shipping by ground freight. I'm in Los Angeles and the shipping from the east coast was quick and efficient. The three cases were well protected on the pallet and the shipping company was on time and very courteous. I've inspected the cases and they look to be well made and of comparable quality to a number of Road Ready cases that I already own."

"I have seen worst cases. A bit flimsy, but light enough for air travel. As shipped fit was pathetic. Why ask what keyboard the case is for, if it is not a good fit? I replace the foam and the case seems O.K. $40.00 for better foam and the time to modify the case. Cannot predict if it will holds together with any abuse. It is better than nothing."

"I ordered the 2 in 1 Scanner Case. It is junk!!! The wood panels are so thin that you can bend it without any effort. The ribbets are all off line and it really looks bad. The worst part of it was their customer service, the owner basically said that I'm stuck with it and said what do you expect for the price. Horible! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!"

"Road Cases USA makes very poor cases. Unfinished metal work, rivets jabbed in like nails and not spread, splintered wood. Most of the rivets weren't even long enough for the wood, let alone the aluminum valances. There is a reason they are so cheaply priced.

The company seems to have several different names, as well. Roadie Products Inc, Hybrid Cases, New York Case Company, Island Cases, and probably others I haven't discovered yet. They seem to just change their name and website every few years. I found out all of this too late, as there are complaints for the various other company aliases. The company is out of Holbrook, NY, so if you see a case company from there, it's them.

The Chinese make better cases than these.

I should add, their customer service is wholly unprofessional, and attempts to deny all wrong doing. I had to file a paypal claim to get my money back. I also filed a complaint with the BBB. These people are horrible.

The bad customer service was actually from the owner of the company himself. He lacked even a common sense knowledge of manufacturing, and simply freaked out in his emails, ranting on and on about how perfect they were, and how I should just use the case as-is.

I did finally get my money back, thanks to the paypal claim, but I still had to pay the return shipping."
