"This website is a scam it took 370 dollars from someone I know and when they arrived to the hotel they had no reservation on file. When calling the number it came to a womans cell phone named Tiffany who lived in Utah. I would never trust a website I never even heard of that's for sure. But the person should of knew something was up because Hilton's are never 370 especially for 1 night. These people belong to be in jail stealing money. "

Our baseball tourney was changed attempted to make a change to my reservation and was told I had missed the deadline to make changes to my reservation. Booked at 3:00pm when I got the email from them I saw the mistake called to cancel was told I had to cancel before 10am on the same day I booked at 3:00. "I booked a hotel thru what appeared to be the Marriott site, but turns out it wasn’t. I check in and find out my reservation had been cancelled. I Had already Received an email with a confirmation receipt that said my Res was paid in full and guaranteed. Called reservationdesk.com and they said on their end the reservation was valid. I even had a charge on my card for a “service fee” and after further investigation, they told me my reservation was cancelled because of an invalid card, but yet they had already charged my card for the service fee. And no, my card was not even near maxed out - there’s no reason why it would have been cancelled. I never got an email from reservationdesk notifying me of the cancellation either. I’ll never be duped by them again and will be getting my “service fee” back. "

"Like many others have mentioned, we thought we were booking directly with the hotel. My wife booked, then found out I too had booked but using a different method. Within 90 minutes we cancelled. We asked for a refund and pleaded our case as an accident. They asked for proof of our double booking and we provided it. They said they would contact us within 24 - 48 hours. A week later they sent email declining to refund us. Not using this site ever again."

"My son had a volleyball tournament that was canceled. I called FIVE days in advance and they would not refund any of my money. The customer service is horrible and the site is a scam. If you go directly through the hotel they would have canceled. "

"I booked with reservation-desk.com because it showed up in the search for a particular hotel.
It sounded like I was getting a deal but paid more than if I booked directly at the hotel. Further, after they spelled my name in correctly, I did not receive an email because that was also spelled in correctly. On my day of travel I checked my reservation with the hotel and they could not find it. I called back to reservation-desk.com and they assured me the hotel had my reservation and provided a 7 digit conf#. I called the hotel back and they still could not find me. I called back reservation-desk.com and spoke to another person who gave me a different conf# and this time I asked them to send me a copy of the reservation, which they did after discovering my name was mispelled. I called back to the hotel with the latest conf# and they still could not find me with the conf# or my name. I was totally frustrated with reservation-desk.com at this point and made a second reservation directly with the hotel this time. When I got to my hotel they told me they had two reservations for me. I could not cancel the pre-paid reservation made with reservation-desk.com. But the hotel was accomodating and canceled the one I made with the hotel. So if you use these guys be prepared to pay more and make sure you get a confirmation number that the hotel recognizes. I won't be using reservation-desk.com again!"

"Not only did they appear as though they were the Quality Inn, when my daughter arrived at the Quality Inn they would not honor the reservation so we went elsewhere in town and I called Reservation-desk and used their website to get a refund/credit to my CC. Then Reservation-desk.com said I cancelled and could not get a refund. I said I did not cancel, the hotel refused us and did not charge my card and they not only refused my refund but would not give me a supervisor and when they hung up and I called the 800 number again, the number was suddenly out of service."

"I fell for their spoof site and made a reservation on Saturday and try to cancel it on Monday and they refused. I was canceling the reservation 1 1/2 months out. call the hotel direct and they were unable to cancel. the customer service people refuse to let me contact any one else. they hit me for over $300.00 and when I called the hotel is was only $220.00 for the room, I have no choice but to refute it on my cc. "Don't book w/this site. They pretend they are from hotel chain (even took my mother's frequent traveler pretending she would get points!- she didn't), lied about hotel availability and rates were 40% higher than booking direct w/ hotel! When we arrived, our reservation was cancelled by the hotel and now we cannot even get a refund! (AMEX be prepared to do a chargeback). If I were Marriott I would not allow bookings from this site as it tarnishes their brand!!!!
