"I bought my clip-on aerobars and dual-position seat post through Kickstarter and was looking forward to receiving them for a while. And I wasn't disappointed in any way whatsoever! The seat post allows you to sit forward over the aerobars, or further back in a road bike position. I found the ability to change positions really useful over long distance as I have issues with my one of my glutes, so the position changes really help alleviate the pain.
It takes a little bit of getting used to, both manoeuvring the seat, and the change in weight distribution, but it doesn't take long. The aerobars are ridiculously easy to take on and off, as long as you have an allen key handy.
I've used the set up for an Ironman this year, and will probably use them again next year for 2 Ironman races and one half. And I recommend them to everyone!"
"I was very excited to receive my bars and seat post, all the guys I ride with keep telling me to get a road bike to gain more speed. Riding a Specialized Sirrus Comp defiantly has set backs, the guys at the shop weighed my ride at 32lbs. By installing the bars and seat post it allows me to break the wind and added several options for more positions that allows me to be more comfortable. This set up really made a difference in my riding so I can give them all a ride for their money."

The Aero position is comfortable - and fast - yet you still have the flexibility to use the normal road position on hills.
The clip on / clip off bars are a boon when riding with the cycling club. For club runs with the Tri club I just leave them on.

"I ordered a Switch Aero System as part of RedShift Sports' Kickstarter campaign and was extremely impressed with the quality of the product. It was no more difficult to install than assembling Ikea furniture and is super easy to use and highly durable. I was not entirely sure how often I would use the product, because I only occasionally race triathlons. However, I've found that I enjoy being able to switch riding positions during my rides almost like switching gears. The aero position makes it a lot more fun to go down hills. The ability to shift positions also alleviates some of the inevitable pain in the back, neck, and butt that comes with being on a bike for too long. A nice bonus feature. "Great company with great customer service. Purchased their carbon AeroSwitch system (seat post and S bend carbon aero bars) and couldn't be happier. The system is perfect way to bridge the gap between a road bike and a dedicated tri bike, at a fraction of the cost. The first thing that struck me was how solidly built and sturdy every component was. It was clear they put thought into designing and engineering a system that was meant to last. The saddle and aerobar setup is easy to install and comfortable to ride, and can be customized to fit individual riders with the additional spacers. Switching the saddle position between road and tri positioning is simple and can be done on the fly. The aero bar mounting brackets and quick release clip system allow riders to quickly, easily, and repeatedly switch between a traditional road and aero setup without losing your aero position points. You get the same position and setup every time ! I used this system for my first 70.3 Ironman (Eagleman) as well as a few other events this past summer, including the Nations Triathlon in DC (where I finally got to meet and talk with Stephen and Eric); the system worked flawlessly. Eric and Stephen provide EXCELLENT customer service, and go out of their way to make their customers happy. My only recommendation would be perhaps they could use a stronger adhesive on the armrest pads/brackets, or come up with a different design like some kind of small retaining lip at front of armrest bracket, to prevent the pads from sliding forward, as my left one seem to have done over the course of the season.
