"RebatesHQ are crooks. Years ago they defrauded me out of numerous Holistic Select rebates, which I was eventually able to get compensation for only through the grace of the manufacturer. Back in July my friend and I participated in a Kia promotion, unaware that RebatesHQ was handling the rebates. Lo and behold, it is nearly November and we have not yet received what we are owed. We have each called RebatesHQ 4 times only to be told each time to "wait a little bit longer." Clearly, they are intent on defrauding us yet again."
"I wish I'd seen this before I bought the product. I submitted all necessary paper work on 9/11/14. Checked on site on 12/8/14 said "Your rebate is valid and is scheduled for final processing." Called and rep. said would be mailed on 12/14/14. Checked again on 1/7/15 and had still the same. Did web chat and said someone would contact me in 7 to 10 actual days. Now being told another 30 day delay due to AVG hold up. "
"I bought tires a set of Kumho tires from TIRERACK and they came with a mail in rebate for $50. On January 2, 2012 rebateHQ received my rebate and marked it valid and said it was scheduled for final processing. At the begging of February I contacted rebateHQ because I still had not received my rebate and the status of my rebate on their website was still the same that it was scheduled for final processing. I spoke to a customer service representative and they told me that my rebate would be mailed to me no later than Feb 16, 2012. Today Feb 22, 2012 I spoke to another customer service rep because I still had not received my rebate and it still had the same status on their website. The customer service rep told me that my rebate was scheduled to be mailed by March 16, 2012. Which is a little more than 3 months after they received my rebate and recognized it as a valid rebate. Hopefully when you buy a product with a rebate the rebate is not processed through this company. They are absolutely terrible. One time I contacted them through email because their online chat was unavailable and they never responded to me. "
"I submitted my rebate almost 6 weeks ago and I'm still being told that they haven't received it yet. Everytime I call in the tell me to give it another week. This is getting ridiculous! This would be why I hate dealing with rebates!!"
"This company is now (Jan. 2012) being used by both Sony and Symantec (Norton) on rebate promotions. They have a terrible track record and huge numbers of compalints against them. In my experience in trying to get my $40 rebate on a Sony software purchase and a Norton IS 2012 purchase they were totally dishonest with me. In both cases they stated they "received" my rebate submission more than 4 weeks after it was sent. In both cases they said the rebate was in "final processing", yet would not be sent out for at least another 4 weeks!!! In both cases the check was not sent out when they said it would be, and was not sent out within the stated maximum amount of time listed on the rebate form. In both cases when they listed a check issue date, the check was not sent, and even their status says: please allow up to 30 days to receive your check. In both cases the check has not yet arrived, in one case it has been more than 14 weeks!
It is clear that Rebates HQ acts in an unconscionable way, but NewEgg, Sony and Symantec have been made aware of this fact and asked by theeir own customers not to use Rebates HQ for their rebate processing - yet they still do!!!
I am going to contact the attorney general of my state and the state of TX. where Rebates HQ is. They key thing is to make the complaint against the companies that have choosen to use Rebates HQ and put their innocnet customers through this. rebates HQ will not act differently until somewhat legitimate compamnies STOP using them."
"I submitted the rebate with the form printed from the website. Weeks later RebatesHQ sends an 'original' rebate for to fill out instead. Then they say I submitted twice and invalidate the rebate. They were the ones that asked me to resend the form. There was nothing on the rebate directions that said 'do not use the PDF.' It is just a tactic to not pay the customer. They are a shady company and there are numerous reports on them.

"I agree with the other reviewer, that these guys aren't the best. I didn't have a problem with rebates with them until the last time I tried. I sent my rebate in on Dec. 8th. They said they received it on Dec. 12th and was processing it. I asked in Feb. where my rebate was, they said the check should be mailed out soon. I waited a month and still no rebate check. I e-mailed them and the BBB. I finally got my check in the end of March. The BBB response was so stupid, I decided to say it was resolved. However responded to the BBB inquiry said my check was mailed in May of last year because that was the other rebate I had with them. Luckily, I already received my rebate check when they replied to the BBB.
Also, if you go to the BBB website and search for the PO Box and city/state. You will see that it is the same address as McAfee. So I don't know if they are related to McAfee or not, but I found it very strange that RebatesHQ and McAfee had the same address.
These people also do business as www.rebatetrack.com and parago.com. Unfortunately they do a lot of peoples rebates."
"I submitted an Office Depot $100 rebate in mid-September 2006, which RebatesHQ designated as "valid" on Nov 3. Today (Feb 19, 2007) I received an email update:
"Thank you for your rebate inquiry. We really apologize for the long delay and inconvenience. We are pleased to inform you that your submission has been received and validated, and it is in the final stages of processing. Your rebate check should be mailed by March 14th."
So from about Sept 14th to March 14th = 6 months, where original rebate form stated "up to 10 weeks" to receive check.
RebatesHQ is a fraudulent company, stay away."
