"As a website and service, RGT was excellent. However, I'm somewhat unhappy with the products themselves.
I ordered the Schleich Angus & Hereford Bulls, Cows and Calves. I own several similar Schleich animals and have always been enamored with their high detail and quality.
What I've come to notice with this order is that the Angus animals are NOT new, just re-releases. These have already been released in or around 2002-2003. This is verified by the stamp on the bottom of the animals.
I also realized that the Hereford bull and calf are nothing more than repaints from the existing Simmental bull and calf. The cow is different but seems to be the same or similar to the Simmental cow, but with a different face and neck.
To me this all comes as a cheap presentation by Schleich. I understand that RGT is not responsible for the products that Schleich produces, but a complaint is due and as a supplier of their products, I as a customer have a duty to make this known. If anything, the toys (especially the angus) should be listed as "re-released".
