"A lot of the reviews here for bigboxsuperstore.com read as though they were written by them. Beware. These guys are scam artists. I needed a large screen TV for a conference room quickly and found what looked like a good price on a Sharp LC70LE650U on this site. I've seen other reviews here talk about the bait-and-switch delivery charges these guys pull, and it happened to me, too. I went all the way through the purchase process and then received a call a few days later saying it wasn't actually free and would, in fact, cost over $285. I was in a time jam by then and against my better instincts, went ahead and paid the shipping. The Sharp was, and is advertised as new on the site. It completely malfunctioned four months after we put it in place. Like, would not power up at all. When I contacted Sharp and gave them the serial number, they said it was a refurbished television, and Sharp only guarantees such units for 30 days. We had Sharp send out two sets of parts that a local repair place installed based on what Sharp thought was wrong, but they failed to get the unit working. So, four months after spending a total of $1758 with bixboxsuperstore.com, I have a very large, useless brick. I contacted bigboxsuperstore.com which insisted it was a new unit and said on more than one occassion that they would call Sharp and make things right, but they never did. A Sharp rep told me they had looked the site over and were surprised at the number of two- and three-year old models for sale on the site. It's worth paying the extra money to deal with a reputable reseller that stands behind what it sells. "
"These guys are dirt. Placed an order for a TV, got several confirming emails. If you read closely it says "This order confirmation does not constitute a final offer or contract. All orders are subject to management review and approval." What this means is that if they don't feel like selling you the product at the price they quoted they won't. It's classic bait and switch.
