"The RCAM Mobile Laptop Computer was given to me as a Mother's Day gift. WOW!! What a treat!! Not only is it beautifully designed with it's sleek metallic finish - like a new car - but the screen is FANTASTIC. The images are gorgeous...the best I've seen. To give you an example...my husband and I went to Alaska last month and the images (both still and movies) of the icy glaciers and Alaskan scenery are pure perfection on the RCAM Mobile.
As for the speed of the RCAM - I don't think it gets any faster than this. I work as a Corporate Spokesperson and I have been around and used many laptops in my industry for years (Sony, Toshiba, Dell, etc.) and the RCAM Mobile blows them away. It is truly a pleasure to have such a powerful piece of equipment that also provides the most stylish design. I have the silver finish but I love the metallic pink and red as well!
Additionally,if you want QUIET operation, then this is the ticket. I can hardly hear it running.
As a final note, even though this was a gift, I peeked to see the pricing on the RCAM Mobile and all the specs compared to other laptops on the market with comparable attributes...and I have to say you really get a bang for the buck with this one. It seems to be much less than the others on the market today. I am very, very satisfied."
"I was lent on of these laptops for a couple of months for use on a project. All I can say is it is an EXCELLENT laptop. The paintjob on this is very very nice, with metalic flake and a smooth car-paint finish, looks fantastic. But looks only get a laptop so far, it's what's inside that counts. I was able to play games like UT2k4, Flatout, Need For Speed underground 2, etc, at high resolution with NO slowdowns at all. This proformed almsot as well as my home gaming rig, which surprised me as my desktop has overall better specs in everything except processor speed.
A nice feature was the TV out, I've never used a laptop that had that before, and it was great to just be able to take an SVid cable, hook it up to the TV, and watch movies, or play games on the big screen. (OK, so that wasn't what I was supposed to be doing, but can you blame me?)
For 3D applications, it rendered very quickly, and didn't have any issues handeling renders that took hours to render. (On a XP2600+ on my desktop, took about 14 hours, on the laptop, about 8 hours. Good deal!)
The one and only downside I found was batterylife, which weighed in at about 2 hours. But for a gaming laptop, that is still very respectible.
Overall, I'd highly reccomend the A2 generation, which has more power, and can be compleatly silent, as well as being alot thinner and lighter. "

This is one of the best lap tops I have ever used in the hole world . I have used many lap tops before and I bought this one about 3 weeks ago and mad it is the best. When they say “The worlds most powerful” they mean it. I am an avid gamer and I play a lot of games on my desktop. But now I play them on my new laptop. The frames per second in games is amazing. I have never seen a laptop perform as well as this one has .I am about to sell my desktop because this laptop put it out of its misery. And on another note when I go out to work on it and I go to star bucks or out in the public with it I get so many comments on how cool it looks and the color that is painted on it. I have the black one and people go nuts over it. I can even say it brings some shy girls to talk..
