"I am not one who takes the time to write reviews unless they are well deserved. In fact, this is my first ever rating on anything! With that said, you will notice that I also have a hard time keeping it short when a company is so deserving. Let me tell ya, these guys are getting 5-star ratings for a good reason. I am one who becomes somewhat skeptical of an e-company who had been posted such fine ratings, thinking that some of these good words HAD to have been posted by the company themselves. Based on my experience with RAM EXPERTS, I can easily conclude that this is NOT the case and understand why their ratings are 5-star. Without a doubt, they have earned them.
In mid September, 2011, I ordered a 512mb memory module for an old Compaq Presario 2100. It had only one 256mb module, painfully slow, but it was given to me and I thought it had potential to meet my needs. I called RAM EXPERTS rather than ordering via their website. I wanted the opportunity to talk with a human and get a feel for the type of people I was about to give my money to. I placed my order with Frank. There were no high-pressure sales tactics from this guy. He simply had a genuine interest in helping me decide exactly what I needed for this old laptop.
To give you an idea how these guys operate, three days after I placed my order, I received an email from Frank stating that he is sorry about the delay in shipment, but the memory I ordered was coming from a warehouse that was in the process of being relocated. I was impressed with his courtesy follow-up concerning my order and attention to detail. The memory arrived in about one week. Still, not bad considering that the shipping I selected was standard free delivery (USPS).
I installed the memory and my Compaq did not recognize it. I called RAM EXPERTS and coincidentally spoke with Frank to explain the problem. Frank was a great listener, courteous, patient (and always returned my calls throughout this ordeal). It was decided that I return the memory so it could be tested. In the event the memory failed their tests, they would replace the memory at no additional charge. As it turned out, the memory passed a preliminary test, but failed their more rigorous testing. Frank then offered me an opportunity to purchase some “used” memory they just got in that he though would work. It was available at a reduced price. Initially, I had considered ordering two 512MB modules. My Compaq will handle 1GB (max) so I asked if two modules were available. Frank later called back and said that they found a matching set but needed to fully test them prior to selling. They also informed me that in the event these modules didn’t work in my Compaq, I would be entitled to a full refund (restocking fee waived). So I agreed to the sale.
The memory arrived in a few short days. After installation, my Compaq not only recognized the memory, but it increased the speed of this laptop by about 4X! At Staples, this memory was priced at $40 for one new 512MB module. I purchased two used 512MB modules from RAM EXPERTS for $30. This company worked out a great deal for me and I’m sure they will do the same for you too. Customer service is unsurpassed. I highly recommend anyone to give these guys your business. You will not be disappointed!

"My experience buying with Ram Experts was superb, i was looking for a motherboard, but because of their excellent customer service, i ended buying almost every part for my new pc.
As said before, the customer service is among the best I ever received; from letting me know when they got the parts, to even request parts they didn’t had stock or managed, Ram Experts offered me the best range of brands and products along with the sufficient advise for each item with several shipping options; basically, you can be sure that if you have a question, or are looking for a very specific part, they'll do their best to get it.
About the shipping, I´m from México, so I was a little unsecure about using the USPS service since once the package arrived over here, I wouldn´t be able to track it and sadly the local service have a history of mistreating the packages, but thanks to their superb packaging process none of the components was damaged in the sightless, even the LED monitor arrived in perfect condition, so if you are uneasy about how your item might arrive because of bad handling, don’t worry they take a lot of extra precautions to secure them.
