"Had these brakes on my Infiniti for 14 months and haven't even driven 6,300 miles. 4 months ago I even bought the matching set for the rear because I thought they were were the ones squealing. Come to find out the pads and rotors I bought for the front are already bad and this company doesn't warranty past 1 year from purchase. The rotors and pads squeak and squeal all the time, especially after it rains. I would have been better off replacing these with a set half the price from the local auto parts store that would warranty them for years. These brakes are nowhere near High Performance, they are the worst set of brakes I have ever bought and I am disappointed in myself for buying the rear set too. "

"I placed an order complete brake kit on April 17th for my 2004 scion xB and 2015 lexus ct200h.
I tried to add the second rear brake drum for my xB and I could not.
Because the R1 website won't let me add the second one.
I end up contact emailed to one of their sale team members and they said I only to order one into the shopping cart cause it comes in two, left and right.
When I received my packages I only see one of my rear brake drum for my xB, should have be two drums in the packages.
Something is not right, so I went on their website and started to chat with one of the team support name "William" regarding the issues that I have.
I wanted the missing part ship to me with no shipping cost. Because it was not my fault and it was the R1 website that had technical problems.
I wasted an hour with "William", he could not help or trying to resolve the issues.
And told me the part is out of stock which does not make sense at all.
(I tried to order two brake drum for my xB, I got one in the package and you still have another one or more available from R1 website. How is that out of stock? What a shame.) then told me to call sale department team.
So, I called sale department and explained the situation I'm dealing with.
This lady on the phone with me is very nice and trying her best to help resolve the issue.
I told her that R1 website having technical problems adding more than one part into the shopping cart.
She then try it herself and find out that there really are problems with the R1 website.
And she even told me that R1 have a lot of these parts available in their warehouse and could send the part out to me with free shipping.
Shame on "William" lied to me. R1, I feel bad for your company that have this kind of staff working for the company.

"I ordered from R1 Concepts and no one from the company contacted regarding my order but they took my money. According to them the UPS company right across the street form their facility lost my item and investigation started meanwhile I'm sitting here hold my hands waiting for them to get back to me after taking my hard earned money. "It's not experience, its a fact. I ordered a pair of calipers from what has become a joke of a company. First its on the site as they have it, then i get told they only have one and then cancel my order on me. Yet these liars have the calipers advertised on amazon as having 10 in stock when they canceled my order the day they called me to cancel and today. 100% satisfaction, that is a straight out lie! As well as being fraud.
Customer service was no help. Just a repetitive parrot with no concept of anything. Help, far from what they have become.

"I ordered from R1 concepts during a complete brake overhaul for my 2003 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. I was replacing the hard lines, soft lines, master cylinder, proportioning valve, and calipers along with the rotors and pads which I was getting from R1 Concepts. I made my purchase on May 2nd, 2021 and my items were finally delivered on June 2nd. During that time I reached out about the status of my order multiple times and received prompt responses from customer service. The problem is, the guidance I received was often incorrect; including in one instance, where they sent me tracking info for a different order. I also received an additional phone call asking if my order had arrived, over a week before it actually did. This was frustrating as my Jeep was waiting only on these last few parts from R1. Had this service been slightly quicker and/or accompanied by more accurate responses from customer service, this review would be 5 stars.

The products themselves are phenomenal. I ordered the GEOSPEC rotors and Optimum pads. They fit as expected and performed well immediately upon installation. I also appreciated R1's additional effort with break-in instructions. I haven't heard so much as a squeak out of the pads or rotors since their installation. R1's products are top notch and you won't regret installing them on your vehicle.

In summary, R1 makes great, high quality break components that will exceed your expectations. Their customer service can sometimes be iffy, so be prepared in the event that their may be a long wait to receive your items. "

"I’m satisfied with the performance and look. The cutouts for the wear sensors on all four front pads were to large. The sensors with clip would not stay secured. Tried all four front pads. Had to just secure the sensors to the back of the calipers.

The rear pads only had sensor cutouts on one pair. My fault for not noticing but since the front pads all had cutouts I didn’t pay attention and put the ones with sensor cutouts on the wrong side. By the time I noticed I was over it and just left the sensor off the back as well. "
