Very slow shipping and no customer service

"The items (bib, jersey and socks) were finally received after one month from US to Canada. I wrote to the owner, Luis Fernandez, asking for updates regarding the delivery after nearly 4 weeks. No answer from him, which shouldn't be a surprise given my previous experience with him. Fortunately for me, the items received this time were of the proper size. They used an excessive conversion rate at the time from US to Canada. I had, of course, to pay extra fees when I finally received the items. This is my last experience with them. I think I would prefer to pay more and get a better service than the one given at this store. Avoid this store."

No customer service after purchase

"No problem at first, but then I was sent wrong size. I called and emailed more than once, and no response. Unfortunately, this was suppose to be a Birthday gift. Not a fan of a company that doesn't call back or respond to me at all!!! Dissatisfied customer :("

"I've ordered several jerseys from ProCycle Gear in the last 10 years and they're always very efficient with my orders. I've spoken to Luis on a couple of occasions, and he's always been very helpful. I'll keep ordering from him as along as he's in business.

"ProCycleGear has repeatedly provided great customer service with high quality merchandise. The website is clear and easy to navigate. The response is quick and helpful. If there is something specific we are looking for, they research and get right back to us. Really nice variety of choices of products from very good vendors. "I would give this business 0 stars if I could. On Dec. 17 2016, I placed an online order for a jersey with procyclegear.com. I received an order confirmation and my credit card was charged $84.51 the same day. Dec. 19, I received 2 emails, one that said my order was awaiting shipping and one that said the order was shipped. Dec. 23, I received and email from the owner, Luis Fernandez of ProCycleGear.com saying there was a problem with my order, that they ran out of the item I ordered and if he can ship a substitute. This was after I received the email that said it was shipped. I replied back asking if there was a black and red version of the jersey. He replied "let me check." After 3 days of no response, I called. No one answered. I left a message to call me back and left a number. I also emailed that I hadn't heard back and to please call me. On the same day, I get a reply through email with a response "sorry only black white." I reply back if he can please call me as I'd rather discuss this over the phone rather than go back and forth via email. I don't get a reply so later that afternoon, I send another email saying I'd like a full refund since they don't have the item I paid for. Then Luis replies back "Will process full refund." 3 days later, Dec 27, I still don't see a credit on my card account. I email him again asking for a refund. 2 days pass and still no word. I call and leave a message saying I still did not receive my refund and to please call me back. I also send an email. Every time I call, no one answers and it goes straight to voicemail and I never received any phone calls from ProCycleGear.com. I finally had to call my credit card bank to dispute the charge and get a full refund. This was absolutely the worst service I've had to deal with from a business. I was charged $84.51 for an item that was never shipped and then the business did not send me a refund. I consider that theft. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and FTC. When I looked for the address online, Google map shows it to be a residence and not a legitimate brick and mortar store. Seems very shady.
UPDATE 01/03/17:
I finally received an email from Luis saying that I will get a full refund and that he was on vacation. Too late. Not how to run a business.

Incompetent management and Horrid customer care

"I have purchased expensive jerseys on two separate occasions from Procyclegear.com Both times I pair for priority mail and didn't hear or see my products for weeks. i find this behavior and business practice reprehensible. I paid over $200 each time plus a $14.99 Priority mail fee and not even a tracking number or email to keep me updated. This is the standard business practice with their competitors. If you expect professionalism and proper customer care, spend a few extra bucks and go elsewhere. There is no way about it that Precycle gear ****, and I hope they go bankrupt someday real soon."

"Purchasing from here ended up being a complete fiasco and costly mistake. I guess that I should have known when some of the clearance priced items were priced much lower than on other sites.

I ordered three items - one jersey, one pair of compression bib shorts, and one winter jacket. All were to be size large. When I eventually received the parcel, only the jersey was the correct size, large. The jacket was two sizes larger, XXL, and the compression bib shorts were one size smaller than ordered.

I emailed Procyclegear right away, but they did not respond for a number of days, until I sent them another email stating that I would appreciate a response. They offered to exchange the items, but were not willing to pay return shipping costs at first. I told them that since the order was shipped to Canada, I would have hoped that the order would have been packed with more care. Given that they had sent 2 out of 3 incorrect items the first time, I did not have much faith in them getting things right on the second go round. I attempted to confirm that Procyclegear did have the correct items in stock, but the would not respond to this either.

After receiving the returned items, Procyclegear, would not acknowledge their receipt for a week, in spite of a number of emails sent by me to attempt to confirm the receipt of the goods. Given that the parcel was were sent to the owners residential home address, I would have expected a quick response, and apology.

When Procyclegear finally acknowledged the return, they said that they would ship the winter jacket, in the correct size, the next day. As for the compression bib shorts, they said that they no longer had the model that I ordered in stock and said that they were going to substitute a higher end compression bib short.

Even though Procyclegear did not ask my permission for the substitution, and that I preferred the originally ordered items, I emailed them to thank them and tell them that the substitution would be okay.

At this point the owner of Procyclegear emailed me to tell me that he had made an error and had substituted another item once again ... The new substitution was a lower end bib short, that was not compression fit, as I ordered. Even though the new substitution was almost half the price of the compression bib shorts that originally ordered, there was no mention of a refund for the difference paid.

I emailed Procyclegear to let them know that I do not want the non-compression bib shorts that they are substituting. I ordered compression fit shorts because I wanted to see it they truly helped with fatigue on long rides by proving more support. I already have many pairs of regular cycling shorts and don't need anymore. I also don't like the graphics on the substituted shorts.

Procyclegear has not responded to the substitution concerns and I don't expect that they will. After a month of wasted time, and nearly $200 spent, with only a $25 jersey to show for it, I am ready to throw in the towel.

Hopefully, this will help someone else to make a better choice.
