"I’m a big fan of panini sandwiches so I bought this sandwich maker for camping and road trips. I was immediately impressed by the quality of the product, it’s always hard to tell from the pictures you see online but this sandwich maker appears to be well built. I tested the sandwich maker with an old battery I had in my shop, I knew the battery was weak so I wasn’t sure how well the sandwich maker would actually heat. What a surprise, in just a few minutes I was seeing steam and before long I had two beautifully toasted hot sandwiches. I made the sandwiches thick and there was no problem melting cheese and cooking them completely through, I actually had to let the sandwiches cool down a little before they could be eaten. I bought the Power Hunt product because I had read that the other brands that plug into a cigarette lighter don’t work, I would definitely recommend this sandwich maker and now that I have the power strip I think I may try their coffee maker and grill.
