I have been a customer with Plemix for many years now and I bought few smartphones with them. I don't usually write reviews but I believe my experience is worth sharing for two reasons. First, I don't want other people to get played like I did and second I have no other recourse but to write this review.
I bought a Samsung Galaxy S7 edge about 6 months ago for 980$. About 2 months ago, a line of dead pixels appeared on the screen and I found out that it was a defect from Samsung. My first reflex was to contact Samsung to ask them to repair it. Their response was surprising to me: "We don't cover phones that are not from official resellers". So a good thing to know is that Plemix is not an official reseller of phones and therefore the manufacturer warranty does not apply. Then, I contacted Plemix and explained the issue. They asked for proof so I send them a picture of the defect. They gave me an RMA number to be able to send it back to them and get it fixed. I had to pay 220$ to ship it back to them. The fact that it was a defect did not matter I still got to pay the shipping. They received the phone and told me it would take 2 to 6 weeks to get my phone back... It has been more than two months and now they are not even replying so I basically lost my 980$ + the 220$ shipping fees and I have no phone right now.
Conclusion:
- You may get away with one or two transactions but you will pay in the end
- Very bad customer experience, they don't even have a customer service I was speaking to sales
- If a phone has a defect you are responsible for the shipping fees
- If they decide not to ship you the phone you have no recourse and you lose your money
- It is worth paying few extra dollars and buy from say Amazon to have the peace of mind than going with a garbage reseller like Plemix

Shipping of the product was really fast, (it arrived within 3 days from Hong Kong.)
and they provided great customer service.
I ordered two galaxy notes by mistake but they refunded in full right away.

Please, try to contact them just 1 way before you order. That isn't too much to ask is it?
If you have a problem with your order you will get NO response EVER.

"Truly fast and awesome! I bought a Samsung Galaxy S white 8GB from them on March 8 around 1am sydney time and I chose the 3-5 business day shipping. I got the phone within 3 days! That's really fast for me! They even included a plug adapter converter since they saw my order was to be shipped to Australia! I'll definitely buy from them again!"

I must say that I've never had better communication with any company, regardless of where they were, and this company is half way round the world. I would rather deal with a great merchant that is far away who uses FedEX expedited shipping than a US merchant that uses parcel post in the US. "I've ordered a Nokia N97 mini from plemix.com, and although I paid the express shipping fee (1-2 days delivery), I'm still waiting for my new phone 4 days after I made the payment online.
*The customer service is good although I'd prefer that I'd be able to call plemix directly - not wait for an email reply.
*The live chat option is great - when someone on the plemix end is available.
$600 later, I hope that I've made the right choice. Next time I'll check out reviews; research the product so I'll be able to recognise a fake; and discuss in detail with the seller the delivery times.
Hopefully this week my phone will arrive, and once I've checked verification with http://www.numberingplans.com, I'll update this review :-)
UPDATE - 9 JUNE 2010:
Thank you Plemix! The phone arrived safely, albeit abit later than what I would've liked but that's something that I should've clarified earlier :-)
The phone is awesome, and the accessories provided are awesome! Many more things than I expected making my purchase worth the worry. The IMEI website confirmed the authenticity of the phone so I'm stoked.

"This would be my second time ordering from this site and it is unbelievably amazing. Items are well priced and quite cheap for a great unlocked phone. The item was well packaged and always delivered on time. Even though I didn't pay for express delivery (1-2 days delivery), my item still arrived in 2 days and I was quite pleased with their service. Quality of the phone is exactly what you would find at your local carrier but the benefit of this place is that the phones are unlocked for an ease of switch to a different carrier and there are no carrier locked bonuses that you would normally have to pay extra for. I plan on continuing purchasing products from this company in the future."
