"Very satisfied with my order with Pingpongballs.net, the order took exactly as long as they estimated it would and they shipped it to me quickly. My order included a custom design that i uploaded and the final product was exactly as i expected it would be and high quality. The image did not smear or chip. Only issue i had was a lack of response to my attempts to contact the company via email, Other than that I would order from this company again."

"Avoid this "company" like the plague! I placed an order for 1,000 ping pong balls approximately two months ago. My credit card was charged immediately for nearly $400. After about a month with no merchandise and no communication, I began calling and emailing the company to request information. I received no response to repeated emails and voicemails., and no one EVER answered the phone. Eventually, I stumbled across an online review in which the author recommended calling multiple times in quick succession to get the owner - Chris Alleher - to answer. It worked! After 17 calls in a row, he picked up. Chris told me that my order had been produced, was sitting right in front of him, and would be shipped the following day via express mail. He explained that the reason for the delay was that his company closes down every year during the month of August and that it should have been posted on the website (it wasn't, and I am quite confident the story was a lie). Two weeks went by after my order supposedly shipped out "express," and I still had no merchandise. So I began trying to call again. I finally reached someone yesterday - a lady who said she had no access to the system to look up my information and that she would have Chris call me. I called again this morning at around 9AM and Chris answered. When I told him who I was, he said that his name was Roger, that Chris wasn't in, and that I would need to call back after 11 when they opened. I protested and insisted that he answer my questions. He repeatedly refused. So, I waited and called back at 11. The same person answered, only this time his name was Chris. He said that my refund had been issued last night and that I should see it on my card within 3 business days. I expressed my skepticism about this promise, reminding him of the time he promised that my order would ship. He said that the reason for the delay was that he had experienced a death in the family. He closed the conversation by exclaiming that my refund had been issued and that I could "shove it up my f$?!ing a$$."

In the process of trying to recoup my money, I have discovered dozens of online reviews written by people who have experienced very similar situations, not to mention about 3 dozen Better Business Bureau complaints. If you have been victimized by this criminal, please don't let him off the hook. Contact your credit card company, the Massachusetts State Police, your local law enforcement agency, and the Attorneys General of Massachusetts and your state. Stop him from continuing to victimize unsuspecting consumers. And if he has your money, keep calling until he answers the phone. The best number to use is ***-***-****. Even better, dial *67 before the number, and it will mask your name and number on his caller ID. PLEASE help put a stop to him!

Oh - and it should be noted that he operates multiple websites. The two most notable are glowstickfactory.com and pingpongballs.net.

"We placed an order for custom ping pong balls over a year ago. Order was received but all balls were smudged and the printing was illegible. They agreed to reprint the order but charged us an additional amount. It's been over a year and we have yet to receive the reprinted order... even though we were charged a second time. I've spoken to Chris (I believe he's the owner) on a monthly basis. Every time he says the order is complete and being shipped. It's one thing to either forget or fall behind on an order, but it's another to blatantly lie to a customer on an ongoing basis. I would NOT recommend working with this vendor under any circumstances. I have given them over a year to resolve this and they instead chose to keep my money and lie to my face. Very sad indeed."

"This company is a JOKE! I have never been treated this inappropriately in my life by a company. I would never ever order from them. They never responded to emails, calls, online support requests and when they finally did - it was completely insane how I was treated. I needed to file a claim with my credit card, and cancel the card. I wish I could write how I really feel about this company!

After reading these reviews I wanted to add I spoke to Chris as well, and someone name Brian. Was called names and swore at as well...horrible horrible company...I can't say that enough!

"So where to start. I will try and be quick. I placed an order 4/20/2012. 2 plus weeks later I still did not have my order. I called Numerous times and emailed. No response. Finally received email. saying he was sorry and that he would be shipping out via FedEx. I called next day and he "Chris" answered. I explained to him my concern and he said that he was shipping my order the next day. I asked for a FedEd tracking number. He ask for me to hold for a minute so he could get it. 4 minutes later he gave it to me. Come to find out after I got off the phone he had created it while he was on the phone with me. Needless to say, I still had not received my package. I have been trying to call this POS for the last week. For the last few days his phone would not except calls because the VM was full. WTF? Anyway. This SOB answered today. I was very polite and told him who I was and that I still had not received my order "you still haven't received it"? HELL no. He knows I have not received it. Why would anyone want to do business this way. Just stupid. So I say no and he said Fedex has it. I ask again for a tracking number, which he could not produce so I statedI wanted to cancel the order and get a refund. He said ok That easy. No hesitation. He gives me a half ass sorry you haven't gotten your pingpongballs yet, but...and get this he says "my daughter died last week and I really don't care about your order" Now if I felt like he was being serious I would have some compassion. BUT, He is full of shit. I said "I am real sorry to hear about your daughter. That is terrible. And it is obvious you don't care about my order." He then told me to to "Go fuck yourself" and hung up. So I ask.. do you want to do business with this looser who will only waste your time and money."

Yep, same problem as everyone else. After no contact or confirmation, (I wanted them to confirm my filetype was ok before printing) I emailed them to check the status. CHRIS responds with the ball printing takes 7-10 days and they were shipping TOMORROW (this was 2/16/12, order places on 2/7/12). Sure enough, Thursday (2/23/12) I get the "Order Status Changed" to "Refunded" with NO OTHER DETAILS. Wrote him an email, no response. Followed up Friday, no response. Called him both days, left messages, no response.

"Wow, looks like I should have read the reviews before placing an order with these fools, too. I have experienced the same exact issues, countless phone calls and emails only to have this 'Chris' guy cancel my order and refund my money. AFTER WASTING 2 WEEKS OF MY TIME.

Do NOT, I repeat, do NOT use this kid. It's clearly a one-man show, and he doesn't deserve any business that comes his way.

"NEVER EVER EVER USE THIS WEBSITE! Ordered the Navy Ping Pong balls for my husband for his birthday. This was over a month ago. I had sent over 10 emails and placed over 20 calls to this owner, some guy named Chris. It took over two weeks to hear from him and all he said in the email was "your order has been refunded" WHAT? I didnt want my order refunded I just wanted my order. So I told him that and he wrote back saying the order would ship the follwing day. Yeah right, once again nothing happened so I sent more emails. So now once again my order is apparently being refunded with no explination. My husbands birthday has come and gone and he dosent have one of his gifts. His party was beer pong themed and I wanted him to have his own navy ping pong balls to use...ugh sooooo mad!"

"One of the worst online retailers I've ever dealt with. Placed my order on Nov. 30 for a basic set of custom-printed balls and a paddle. Never heard back from them for a week and then had to login to check my order status to see that it was refunded. No explanation, no e-mail, nothing. Tried calling them - customer support number is either not theirs or the person answering had no idea he was supporting this retailer. Simply hung up. STAY AWAY!"

"STAY AWAY!

I placed an order for metallic silver custom beer pong balls on 12/17 through pingpongballs.net (although judging by the contact person and phone number they also operate under the guise of beerpongballs.com). That same day a guy named Chris said that “photos should be printed on white balls.” I replied that I still wanted to see the proof on the silver ping pong balls and would decide after that if I would like to switch the ball color to white.

I didn’t hear back from him until the next day when I got this reply from Chris: “Yeah we are not going to print this on silver balls, photos must be imprinted on white balls otherwise the print will look poor.” It would have been better to state this information on the website in the beginning and then be a bit clearer in the first reply email.

That same day (12/18), I authorized the change to white balls, and added that I wanted a proof ASAP. I had paid for 1 day service and wanted to have them shipped that day so as to make it to me by Christmas.

I didn’t hear back from them. On Monday the 21st I sent an email inquiring why I hadn’t received a proof. I asked that they contact me by email or phone.

On December 22nd my boyfriend called them. The number listed on the website rang through to a cell phone and the connection was poor. After some back and forth inquiring about the order, the man stated that “all orders had shipped” and that if I sent him an email, he would get me a tracking number. I immediately sent him an email but I never got any response back.

I called again on the 23rd and left a voicemail that was not returned.

On the 24th, I called four times in a row before finally getting someone to answer the phone. At this point they admitted that the order had not even shipped because the proof hadn’t been approved. They said they had emailed the proof to me. I had not received any email from them since the ball color discussion. I confirmed he had the correct email address. I asked him if he could “resend” the proof that day to which he replied that he would. During this call he also claimed that all Christmas orders had to be submitted by the 16th. This deadline was not in any email or listed on the website to which I stated to him. His response was silence. Despite this telephone conversation, I never received an email that day from him.

On the 28th, I sent yet another email asking for the proof and also that I “…expect a refund on the expedited processing fee.” No proof was forthcoming.

Today, the 30th, I finally got this nice note from Chris: “we [sic] have not charge [sic] your credit card and this order is now canceled [sic] chris”

So let’s recap. They state that they can make custom ping pong balls on a variety of ball colors and can process them in one day. Then they turn around and say that they can’t print pictures on any color but white, and then can’t get a proof sent in over 10 days. They don’t answer their phone unless badgered, can’t answer an email in a neither timely nor professional manner and then suddenly cancel the order.

In the end, poor communication, poor customer service, and no product delivered.
