"WE GOT RIPPED OFF BY AMERICAS-PET-STORE aka. PETFRENZY.COM

Ordered two sets of indoor pet gates to keep our dogs out of our living room. We received mismatched parts with one piece being an older discontinued design and it did not match the rest of our purchase.
At $300 for very flimsy plastic and thin metal Chinese construction, it was very disappointing to say the least, everything did not arrive as intended or described.

Upon contacting them they were of little to no help at all. We had to spend untold hours researching the problem and contacting the manufacturer.

We ultimately realized we needed to return the outdated discontinued piece and they sent back correspondence that included their "policies" on returns. You pay to ship back to them on their mistake, you eat what they spent to ship it to you, and a 15% deduction. That would total a refund of almost $0 on their internal mistake. If there was a design change in the product than the older stock needed to be kept with the older design gate kits. They are not mix and match.

The consumer has no opportunity sight unseen to know they would receive anything other than the correct components to build the fence.

"I ordered a pet ramp with a custom cover. The foam ramp (ex scamp ramp) was completely unstable and the yardage was off for the cover so I had to send an extra yard after I had send the two yards that they had told me to send originally and the finally product is a patch worked mess.
My 23 pound dog can't use the ramp because it is too flimsy and the customer service at Pet Frenzy was terrible. They were unapologetic and defensive. The ramp is trash.

"I ordered a pet ramp that was shipped directly from the factory, the mfg. is Solvit and the cost was $124.99. The ramp was damage upon receipt, so I called the company that I ordered the ramp from online: www.petfrenzy.com

I spoke to a gentleman named Stan on the phone who was very apologetic and said he would help me out. He called the manufacturer - they immediately arranged for the shipment of a new ramp and I could dispose of the other ramp as I saw fit. Stan kept in touch by email every step of the way - I never had to guess or wonder what was going to happen - Stan acted efficiently, professionally and with a high degree of customer service that this writer has not experienced in a long time!

Stan - I hope the company gives you a raise - you deserve it and make sure your boss sees this note!
