"Perry Ellis clothes aren't the most premium quality clothes available, but it's "designer" at an affordable price, especially with the discounts they run. I've seen 30% for new orders, up to 50% for Black Friday/Cyber Monday with free shipping.

I started my experience with something inexpensive, their Pima Cotton [Under]shirt: very irritating/itchy tags, poorly designed neck, and questionable fit. I tried other clothes and found some of their fabrics feel uncomfortable (heavy, hot), are prone to wrinkle and stains, some have a distasteful sheen, and are dry clean recommended on top of that. Their cuts, stitching, and style take a certain taste to appreciate. There's a signature sleeve pleat on some of their dress shirts that make them stand out. They have some flashy colors too, which some may like for casual dress. I tend to like their city/modern fit (loose up top and tapers to close/slim fit near knee/abs) dress clothes, but tend to go conservative with solid black.

They tend to ship FedEx (which inc Sat as a business day) with some tamper-security tape/seals on their *huge* packages. They're not packed well, compared to Armani Ex, which is neatly folded and tucked into a small box, instead it's very loosely packed which can shift and bunch on one. They tend to ship within 24 hours and most of their things are warehoused in Seneca, SC, though they charge tax for many states where they have a local store. They include a sample of fragrance with some orders.

They don't seem to have a lot of CS reps (especially after hours), so make sure you buy what you want else you'll be wasting a lot of time on hold, waiting for a rep, and e-mails sometimes don't get answered for days if you e-mail after business hours. Though when I do get through, the CS is very quick and helpful. E-mail during business hours and you may be resolved nearly instantly. Returns are no hassle and they even charge a very reasonable flat rate for a pre-paid return label $6.

I'd only really shop them again once they design something I actually like. And when they're running a decent sale. Else, I wouldn't recommend them., especially since I'm a fan of fitted clothes.
