"I installed the stage 1 ECU/TCU tune on my 2023 Audi S4 at 2K miles. A few months later (7k miles) my car ended up breaking down on the street. After having the vehicle towed to Audi for assistance, I was told the vehicle had multiple misfires, excessive amount of metal shavings in the oil, and the engine would most likely need to be replaced. As expected, Audi would not cover any of the repairs or replacement cost due to the modification. Just in case you were wondering this was a $30k bill to have the engine replaced. I reached out to IE after having my vehicle towed to the dealership and was told to keep them updated to see what type of assistance could be provided, but that all went out the window once I sent over a copy of the invoices and other documentation. With the exception of the tune, everything else on the vehicle was OEM. Now I have a $60k shell sitting in the garage going on 3 months. Wanted to share my experience in hopes to help others avoid the nightmare . "
"This company is awful beyond words. I had their stage 1 tune installed in my S5 with only 62,000 kms, 3,000 kms later the engine blew. Turns out a bunch of other people with their tune also blew the same motor on their cars, same issue being a cylinder 6 misfire. It cost me over $17,000 to install a used motor and they don’t care, myself and some of the others are working on a class action lawsuit against these criminals. "
"I ordered a Tune along with a tuner and was really excited to try them out heard great things about this company. Unfourtnently, In good conscience I could NEVER recommend this company. I ordered my product for black Friday, and I expected it to be delayed since it was over the holiday. 2 weeks later nothing, not an email or a message from the company stating that it was going to be delayed. So I emailed them to see if everything was ok. They 1st blamed it on FedEx stating that the driver did not scan it when they picked it up, and to wait a week and email back (Lie #1). So I waited a few days since it's nearly been a month since I ordered the product, shouldn't have to wait for another 2-3 weeks to have this issue resolved.
So I give them a call a few days later. A few days later a new excuse, they were having an issue with the fulfillment center, and the package hasn't even been shipped yet, Lie #2. I was told it was already shipped and to be on the lookout, and it was FedEx fault. Also, the customer service agent made it seem like it was my fault and was very rude, and how dare I call about the product. If I would have never called I would have never found out you NEVER EVEN SHIPPED IT.... Long story short go to Cobb ECS anybody but these unprofessional unfit crew of misfits. "

"Sunday morning, 10am, go to flash a tune on my car. gotta love windows for blue screen of death at the most inopportune times. bsod happened after flash wizard cleared current maps. no crank, no start, nothing. spent several hours trying to resolve the issue on my own. I emailed IE, fully expecting to not hear back until Monday afternoon, at the soonest. 10 minutes later Christian emails me, with a few tips. I followed the instructions he sent, 3 minutes later the car is running again. guys, you spend craptons of money on VAG cars, quit trying to save a dime by going the cheapest route you can find, because at the end of the day, when something goes wrong, the seller on eBay... his email no longer works and your left with a $15k+ paperweight. "

"Ordered an IE Intake Kit + Stage 1 Tune for my MK6 Golf R.
The IE Intake is beautifully made and fits perfectly. The induction sound is one of a kind!
The Stage 1 tune transformed my car. Throttle response is much sharper and power delivery is linear.
The dead spot between 2000-3000RPM is gone too.
Lastly, dealing with IE has been absolutely wonderful! Everyone is really helpful and a delight to work with.
