"Note: order date was 3/2/2007. But date above does not go that far back.

I ordered a set of hitch with the hitch, hitch receiver and a hitch ball. I received the hitch and the hitch ball right away but they sent me an incomplete hitch receiver. Their original excused was that the item is on backorder but I have not received anything 1.5 years later. So I put in a complaint with their local BBB. Guess what, they still said that the items was on backorder. I replied back saying, look at the order date. They finally gave my money back for the parts. Anyway, it seems there is a pattern with this company according to the complaint here.
By the way, i called the company every month for about 6 month to try to remedy the situation or get my money back. They won't give it to me until BBB get involved. Some of reader may say, why didn't I call before the order. I did. They did give me a couple of $5 McDonald and $5 Starbucks gift card.

At any rate, at least I get my money back.

"Do not order from this company, they kept our money and didn't fill our order. My husband ordered a part and never received it. They were supposed to be issuing a refund, well that never happened. They closed up shop and left taking our 361 bucks. I talk to their landlord on the phone and he informed me they were gone by mid October.

If you paid by credit card contact your company, if you paid by paypal, like we did, you are probably screwed. The company has no money in their paypal account so Paypal can't pull it back out of it.

"STAY AWAY! I ordered a simple K&N air filter back on October 11, 2008. The web-site said normally ships within two to three days. Two weeks later I called and actually talked to a live human being. He told me it would ship the next day. Here it is November 11, 2008, and nothing. I have tried calling and can no longer contact anybody. Sales, customer service, an operator, no-one. The automated phone service just says they are closed, no matter what time of day it is. The web-site is still active and let me try to place a bogus order. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!

"I ordered Bilstein shocks on 10/3/08 that were advertised as being in stock. I was told they would ship next day. They charged my credit card immediately. 3 days later I called to get the tracking info, that was never emailed & was told that the shocks were NOT in stock & were on order from the manufactuer. Should be 2 weeks. After 2 weeks of not hearing anything, I called & was told the same thing. As of 11/3/08, they no longer answer their phone. Just the computer answers and you cannot reach a human. I've emailed also & nothing. Their site is still active, but they must have gone out of business or something. I have filed a complaint against them w/my credit card company for Fraud! Also, I filed complaint w/BBB in their area. This is a terrible place to do business with & gives internet business a bad rep. NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH PerformanceCenter.com !!!"

"Placed an order online on 10/14/08 for a stabalizer bar. A week later I began to wonder when my part would be delivered. I then realized I never got an order confirmation email and logged onto their website. Found that my order was still pending payment completion, even though I had used a major credit card. I contacted the card provider and I have not yet been charged for this order, so I tried contacting their customer support by telephone and email. I have not been able to reach anyone by telephone and simply get routed through the prompted phone system and have not received a response to several emails and voicemails. I simply want to cancel the order at this point and hopefully the charges will never hit my card. Do yourself a favor and find another supplier."

"Ordered a Holley Throttle Solenoid on March 19, 2008 and paid through Paypal. They charged my credit card immediately and emailed on the 20th. stating the part would be shipped from the manufacturer the week of the 24th. I called the 26th. to check on the status and they told me it would be shipped from the manufacturer the week of the 24th. I told them because it hadn't been shipped yet and because their policy states you can cancel if the item hasn't been shipped, I wanted to cancel the item. They entered an RMA and stated they had to verify the item hadn't shipped and they would sent me an email with the status. I received no email and called them on the 27th. and talked to Eric and he confirmed the RMA but stated that the item was shipped on the 25th. and he would send me an email with the tracking number. This is the 29th. and I haven't as yet received any correspondence from Performance Center about this order.

I believe I am also getting the run around as their website is still advertising the solenoid as being on sale but doesn't state that in fact it is on back order although they don't define back order until you have apparently waited for an unusually long time.

I have just filed a complaint with Paypal and hopefully I'll eventually get this resolved. I've purchased many items online over the past eight years and every once in a while you come across a poor website such as this. It leaves a bad taste in your mouth but I guess that's life. Would not do business with them again.

Update: As of 4/12/08, Paypal ruled in my favor and credited my account with the appropriate funds. Performance Center never responded to Paypal or myself. I believe this site is a false front and a few individuals only take orders and have no inventory themselves. Stay away from these guys. You have been forewarned.

"This is the second order I have placed with them. The other was the first of December 2007. I first placed this order on 2/27/08 and received a conformation. I had called when ordering to make sure that the product I needed was in fact in stock. I was told that it was and if I ordered it now, it would go out in the morning. So I placed the order over the phone while I was on the line with them. I saw that they price match so I gave the guy the site where I saw it cheaper, and he said no problem and gave me a price about 50 cents cheaper, wow. Anyway, the next Monday I still have not received my order or even an e-mail. I called them up only to find out that they could not find the site I had given them because the guy I spoke to wrote it down wrong. Since it could not be verified there was no order, meanwhile I sit here waiting on my order. I asked, do you have my number, he said yes, I said then why could someone not call me and let me know there was a problem? He had no reply, but then said if you order it now it will go out in the morning, so I did. Today is 3/10/08 and I just got off the phone with them again because I have no product and have received no notification by phone or e-mail. They just informed me that the product I ordered was suppose to be coming to them from the company,"POWERMASTER", and they were to receive it on 3/12/08. That means I should hopefully receive a product that they said was in stock at time of ordering, 3 weeks later. But they sure had no trouble charging my credit card from first contact with them. "

"I found this website through google, and like the other post, this has to be the worst place to buy anything over the Internet.
I order some belltech spindles through them on 10/29 didn’t receive anything so called them up and they said “It should have arrived”
FedEx tracking number say they deliver it but I never got anything, so they opened up a claim with FedEx, they say it takes 7-14 days I called them back and said it was denied.
They open up other claim waited other 14 days guess what happen got denied again, at this point its been over a month. I ask to speak to the Supervisor left THREE messages with no return phone call. At this point I was mad been over a month and still no parts I just had the truck in my driveway sitting there and I just
wanted my money back but the customer rep said he couldn’t do anything until FedEx clear it. So they open up the third claim and now the customer rep Elison or something like that tells me if this get denied I would lose my money. This is when I got frustrated and really mad losing $270.00 it a lot of money to me. Anyways still would have been waiting if I didn’t open up a claim with paypal (good think I paid with paypal) within 18 days I had my money back. I ended up buying the spindles from summitracing and got it within 3 days. This has to be the worst place to buy anything…Other buyers beware of this seller.

"After having the shipping date on my order pushed back several times from 2 weeks to 2 months I canceled my order. Getting my money refunded has been a real pain. After several calls to my sales rep Justin Tate, I was told 8-10 working days to get my refund. Now after 11 days I still do not have my money back. I have never had to wait this long for a refund from anywhere else. Everytime I call I feel like I am getting the old run around. I checked out this company with the BBB and found several complaints filed about the same thing. I would be careful about doing business with this company. Before doing any business with this company I suggest you check them out on the BBB website. If and when I get my money back I will add that to this post. Today is day 12(business days) after my cancellation, and still no refund. Buyer beware!! I finally got ahold of my customer rep, Justin Tate, and he said he would take care of it. Another waiting game. Day 13 still only promises no refund. This has got to be the worst company to do business with. I called the president of the company, Tony Savasta, and left a voice mail on day 11, still no return call. Day 14 and I finally have my refund. $300 is alot of money to be hanging in limbo. Well my adventure in the land of Performance Center is over, no return visit for me!"
