STOLE MY PART AND MY MONEY

"So I ordered a part here and when I was looking for info about it they just said that someone was trying to contact us about it (never happened) and now our part is gone and we won't be getting our money back.

Daylight robbery!

Also I noticed they have a lot of fake reviews.

Front lip for 997

"Pelican parts front lip was supposed to be a bolt on part close to OEM. Terrible did not fit; correctly and too much to ship back; it needs to be modified if I’m even going to try to use it. Practically ruined my bumper trying to make part fit. Do not waste your money on this 997 front lip they offer as carbon fiber bolt on."

Constant Push-outs of Delivery Date

"I purchased something back in May and still have not received it. Every time I check in they tell me it will be at their location for inspection/ship within 2 weeks. It has been 4/5Mo's and I still do not have the part and again it's scheduled for another 2 weeks out. The empty promises of obtaining the part is not acceptable. I told them if the part isn't guaranteed at this point or free I'm going to cancel. I know we are in terrible times with the pandemic but there is absolutely no reason for a supplier to decommit on a date over and over and over again. If it's not coming just say so and I'll go buy elsewhere. Be respectful of your customer. I have made several changes to my car where the OEM part stands out like a sore thumb. I've been extremely patient and the 10% off they game me means nothing to me when I have no idea if I'll get the part anytime soon. Total lack of credibility in the timing they keep telling me is going to happen."

Terrible service, inaccurate website stock

"Horrendous experience. Their website says the parts were in stock but they're not. Gave me run around for 2 weeks. Had to cancel. WORST customer service as well. Just put you on hold for 20 to 40 min at a time with zero resolve. "

Avoid this company for vintage German car parts

"They do not know what they are talking about.
Two orders for a 1992 MB 500Sl were incorrect parts.
I am still waiting for a refund for 8 spark plugs that are resistor type, that are incorrect and cause issues with the ignition system.
I actually purchased the correct ones from CarID.

Don't expect your items on time.

"Placed an order on a Sunday evening, at the time of order the website indicated item was in stock, would ship within the next business day (Monday), and on top of it I paid for the shipping service that indicated 4-day delivery time.

Monday came around, everything was great, item had shipped, however it didn't ship with the appropriate service to have the item delivered within the 4 day period. The item would be delivered in 7 days with the shipping service they chose to ship with.

Contacted customer service, they said they would refund the shipping charge which is more than fair, but then received an email saying the excuse for the late delivery time is Covid-19. If I didn't know better I would have said fair enough, but this was the most dishonest thing they can tell to a customer and hide behind a Covid-19 excuse. The delivery service they chose "Home Delivery" regardless of any delays from CA to FL is 5-6 business day service. They shipped this knowingly that it won't be here on time, while the at the time of order 4-day shipping service was selected, paid for and promised by the seller.

Just wanted to let buyers know not to rely on the sellers indicated shipping times.

Part damaged during shipping.

"Terrible customer service.

Part was shipped without protective packaging and was damaged cosmetically and structurally and can NOT be used.

No return offered, just an insulting 25% refund. DO NOT BUY if part is at risk of being damaged as they will not help you.

return policy

"i ordered 3 parts totalling 368.00 for my BMW. Decided to return the brand new unused parts, still in their original packaging and boxes for a refund. Sent them back to Pelican after confirming with their customer service that I could return them. I was refunded 124.00 freaking dollars out of my original 368.00 purchase price!

I have never in the history of purchasing auto parts not gotten a full refund for brand new returned unused parts. This is disgusting and I'll never use this company again.

UPDATE****
Update, I was reached out to by a representative from Pelican Parts and they have since refunded me my full refund. I guess they haven't lost a customer after all. Thanks to Michael Morita Vice President of eCommerce Pelican Parts, for assisting me to resolve this issue.

Go to the Dealer! Not to Pelican Parts

"Don’t buy parts from Pelican Parts! If it is a bad part, they won’t replace it. You have to go to a dealer, make an appointment, deal with all the BS and go through the dealership warranty process. It is a HUGE waste of time! Find another parts place as there are many online! Or ... I hate to even say it... check the dealer first! They had the part, or could get it without shipping costs. Buyers beware! "

Did not fit, too small I just order this fan and it said that it fits BMW 540i 2000. to return. Part was $36.00 with a tax. Shipping

I just order this fan and it said that it fits BMW 540i 2000. I need to return. Part was $36.00 with a tax. Shipping is $13.25. I did some return with other company, all I have to do, print the Fedex label, put it on the box, be sure that it is done properly and fedex will come to pick it up. As with Pelican Part, I have to pay for the return shipping. I already paid $13.25 and I have to pay for the return another $9.25 total of $22.50. If you cannot guarantee that your part will fit, you shouldn't be in this type of business. I lost $22.50 for something that I cannot do anything.
And when I research by the part number, it seems to be fitting Porsche. You send me the wrong part and you went back to mention that now this part might not fit our vehicle.
Highly not recommended this company.
