Not happy

"I have ordered 2 clip on pony’s and had many complaints, I decided to order extensions in the same color.
It is not the same…..terrible match. I called after reading it would cost me $20.00 to restock & 10.00 postage! She offered me nothing, so compromise or anything….I’m angry it’s too bad I loved their products but it’s over now. Don’t do business with them.

Poor quality and poor delivery and even poorer customer service

"I ordered wigs. Did not receive them for close to a month. Still waiting on returns and exchanges been over a month. Tried to call customer service. Very rude and unhelpful. They charge your credit card more than what the order was. They say you have 30 days to return the wig but they neglect to tell you they start counting the day they send the wig. So if the wig takes two to three weeks to get to you and a week to get back to them, there goes the 30 days and you will pay a $20 restocking fee per week plus return postage. This is a racket and a rip off. They immediately charge your credit card for an amount higher than what the order was in the first place and then you wait a month or more to receive the wig and if you send it back you'll pay an extra 30 plus dollars. Save yourself heartache money and go to another wig company. I am still waiting on my returns and/or exchanges since October 3rd 22."

GOOD AT TAKING YOUR MONEY - NOT GOOD AT RESOLVING A PROBLEM

"I have purchased wigs from Paula Young wigs for a good number of years. I would find a style I liked and buy several of that style. If they had a sale, I would purchase 2 or 3 more at a time. So I ended up with quite a few of the style I was currently wearing waiting in the wings. When I recently went to replace what I was wearing with a new wig, I went to my supply - took a wig and went to style it and put it on. Surprise! The wig, though it had the same name and style number that it was supposed to be - looked nothing like it was supposed to. It was thin, limp, longer and straighter than the previous purchased wigs. So I went and got a second new one, only to find the wig was the same as the first one I tried - and nothing like what I ordered or had been wearing that had the same name, style number and appearance in their catalog. So I wrote to the company to complain and ask why they had switched the style without changing the photo online or in their catalog or its description. It looked and read just like the first one I ordered. So I was surprised to be told that my wigs were purchased too many years ago and that wigs that are stored in their box "will deteriorate". Give me a break! Deteriorate? What, it got thinner, straighter, longer and lost ALL its curl? Sorry, but that is bull! I have other wigs that have been stored for longer and nothing has happened to them. I was very surprised at their attitude with this situation. I have at least 5 of these wigs, all in the same never worn condition that cannot be worn. I did not expect a refund for them, but I also did not expect them to come up with such a lame-brain excuse. So if you wear wigs, steer clear of Paula Young. At the very least, don't make the mistake I did: When I received these wigs, I checked that the style was correct and that the color was correct but I didn't take it out of the box, turn in outside-in and look at the wig itself. I trusted them, I trusted that I was dealing with an honest company. That was clearly not the case. Buyer beware! "

Company does not stand behind their products

"I have ordered 4 wigs from this company. My 4th was a disaster and horrible. Very thin on one side, buckles up on same side, bangs are very funky.

Here's the scoop: They take returns - however - please beware that with all returns they charge around a $20 restock fee and an $8 shipping fee. Wow - that's $28 you are being charged for a defective product - so they have just received I am sure their cost of the wig so they are out no money. They charge the customer for not liking a defective wig. Very bad for business and they have lost mine.
