"I order an Irish hand and a half sword on September 11th 2019. After a week of my order status still saying "Awaiting fulfillment I shot them an email to inquire at when it could be shipped out as I have ran into a couple of people saying their items were out of stock and their website was not up to date. After 2 days of no reply I decided to give them a call. No answer so I left a message. I then sent another email via their website. Still no reply. I am going to attempt to give them another call today. It being nearly 13 days after I placed my order. I get that they may be a smaller business and it takes extra time, but at bare minimum the customer service is horrible and it takes all of 2 mins to even tell someone " Sorry we are a little backed up and it is taking a little longer to get our orders out". If I don't hear anything within a week I'm going to assume I got robbed and dispute the charge through my credit card company. It doesn't seem like they have any intention of sending my order and I can't find any reviews on recent purchases."
"Had a friend order a practical rapier blade for me in exchange for a SCA helm. 10 days or so after the order was placed they finally replied to an email to inform us it was out of stock. We decided on waiting the extra 6 weeks for it to come in stock pulse 1 week to ship to Canada. After 8 weeks they they informed us it hadn't come In their order from China and that it would be another 6 weeks plus 1 week shipping to Canada. When asked to just refund the money because 16 weeks to get a rapier blade was crazy They simply refused. They allowed my friend to order some other items that were in stock of the same price.
Pretty crappy deal if you ask me.

"Be wary of this company and its distributor Dragon's edge. They have questionable business practices and horrible customer service. After returning an item, numerous attempts in the Paul Chen web site, yielded no responses. They only use e-mail so you are at their mercy on whether they want to respond or not. Their distributor, Dragon's edge, has a phone #, but no one ever picks up, and you can't leave a message. I suspect both do this intentionally.
I have yet to receive any refund after months of trying."
"I really had bad experience with CAS Hanwei swords. I had purchased a Hanwei Bamboo Mat Katana $599 from kultofathena.com. However, right after my heavy cutting the frist day, the whole handle plus wraping start to loose, it is way worse than my $500 gift shinken from Japan!!!
