"I previously posted a more detailed review of my bad experience involving the company's practices and customer service department. Unfortunately, the company had their attorney send me a letter threatening to pursue me accordingly if I did not remove my posting immediately. Although I still stand by my original posting, I do not have the time or money to defend myself in court over an $18 loss. However, my 1 star review will remain here to signify my very poor experience with this company and I apologize to my readers for not being able to expand on the details of my experience due to the threat of a lawsuit from DirectFix.com, AX Micro Solutions, Inc. I was able to successfully order the same part from another company for 2/3 of the price, so DirectFix isn't the cheapest supplier either."

"On-line repair instructions seemed okay, but they only covered how to open the PDA. Only after I had the case open did I realize the instructions didn't cover the internal disassembly to replace the digitizer. The repair failed. Either I did something wrong, or the part was defective.

The PalmDr did a great repair for me for just a few dollars more than I wasted on the digitizer from PDAparts/AX Micro/GetHighTech.

"I somehow managed to destroy the display on my Palm TX, putting an internal fracture into it that pooled all the liquid into a slash. Searching showed that PDAParts had a low price for the display / digitizer combination. It helped their credibility with me considerably that they had an online video demonstrating exactly how to open the Palm TX and replace the display.

It took about a week for the display and wrenches I ordered from them to arrive, and the display worked perfectly.
